  1. Do it now. The kms probably won't be legit anyway.
  2. Get it dyno tuned
  3. It's always wise to give the car a good service when you 1st purchase it second hand. No matter what the previous owner has said. Unless you buy the car off your mum or something and you know the history.
  4. Looking forward to giving you a run at the Island even though I don't think I stand a chance haha.
  5. Oh no worries. I guess it'll be fine leaving it in a little pile then. What's wrong with the 33?
  6. I used to have oil pumping into my intake during track days which would always have the turbo's smoking as i cam off the track. Blocked off the PCV and all associated plumbing. Fitted a $30 catch can with a breather plumbed to the rocker cover breathers. No more oil issues. I usually get 50-100mm in the can after 5+ hard laps.
  7. Do you mind if I leave some of my spares and tools with you Richo? If if it's just next to the trailer?
  8. I'm not complaining. I've got to learn how to drive before I get more power. I Should hopefully have my car on the road for the 1st time tonight and 1st track day of the year on Saturday. Man I'm excited!
  9. Nah -7's. Standard actuators and afm's hurt my power. Chris told me it made around 340rwkw but I told him to back it off as it's a track car and I wanted it to be safe.
  10. Wow! Shit that looks good. Might have to put that on my list of things to do.
  11. I'm in Altona too so I'll keep my eyes open.
  12. Anyone parking outside that I can leave my tools and stuff next to as I'm too poor to pay for a garage haha
  13. Word of advise. Don't attempt to install the injectors yourself unless you plan on towing the car to the tuners as the car will not run on the factory tune with bigger injectors.
  14. Then you're good to go.
  15. I doubt this thing will make it into any production cars in the next 5 years but it's a pretty good sign of things to come.
  16. No idea if they'll fit but you need a spring compression tester to check if they're still in good nick.
  17. Looking good. One thing I always thought about doing is trying to paint those cards that sit in the bottom of the doors. But I'm to lazy for that.
  18. Cheers mate. All my boot trims are out so I'll have a look tonight.
  19. Got any tips at how to get the rear bumper off? Mine seems to just hang there by the top supports but I don't know where they are. The bottom just flaps around.
  20. Adding 90/10 shocks with standard springs will help but I think the main thing will be the ET streets. If the car is manual then leaving the line with boost will also be difficult. It's either dump the clutch at 6000rpm+ or bog down. Maybe try to set up some kind of 2 step limiter for launch?
  21. Can't just use the factory 16's or do you already have the 15" tyres? Remember the tyres need to be the same rolling diameter if you're running it in 4wd.
  22. Rear should be fine. Can I ask what the need is for the 15s? I take it it's to run slicks?
  23. Well your on the right track. The principles apply from the Mustang to the Skyline. The one major difference being IRS. A raised ride height and some positive camber will help traction off the line. Also, what tyres are you running and how much power?
  24. I replaced mine with Autometer oil pressure, oil temp and boost. I should be able to find a pic tonight if you still need one. Or if you're in the western suburbs you can come and have a look.
