  1. It might pay to do a little research before you set your mind on things. What do you intend to use the car for? Street I take it?
  2. Jesus that's a lot of juice.
  3. How much juice did you go through over the weekend John? I used probably just under 60L of E85.
  4. Thanks for the opinion mate. I get that all cars are different and that spring rates play a big part part in what bars to go with. Wish I knew what my spring rates were, they're pretty stiff what ever they are. I guess eventually I'll just purchase the Whitelines and have a bit of a play to see what I like.
  5. Yep you got farked. I'd be doing exactly what Frosty said. I doubt you'd get the money back for the tow truck but there is no way I'd be paying those fines as you were doing everything by the book.
  6. I'll be coming for a look and to sign up for membership. No dyno time for me though.
  7. I'm pretty sure i saw you driving through town on Saturday arvo Adam, one of the only cars in street class that I actually saw on the street.
  8. Date: 31/03/13 Car Make and Model: R32 GTR Circuit Name: Winton Lap time: 1:48.3 Timing method: Natsoft Modifications Engine: RB26 with PowerFC, Garret -7s Power: 325rwkw on E85 Suspension: Tein coilovers, Tyres: Kumho KU36 245/35/18 Brakes: Stock with A1RM pads in the front Body weight: Stock minus rear and passenger seat. I dunno what I'm doing wrong but I was struggling to get much quicker. Practice make perfect i guess. Better brakes might help too as they were starting to die.
  9. Sorry to bring up an old thread but I thought it'd be better than starting a new one. I'm looking for a set of sway bars for my 32 GTR and was wondering if anyone had an opinion on what to get and prices in Melbourne. At the moment I was looking at Whiteline adjustable's on eBay for $500 for the pair. This is purely a track car. Oh and it has some shitty old Tein coilovers in it.
  10. I'm hoping to do the same thing but the tow bar on the wagon at the moment is only rated to 1600kg so i need to get the bigger one.
  11. Great choice in cars mate. Same as me. Au wagon daily and 32 GTR weekender. Can't wait to see more progress.
  12. I came last yay. At least I got a trophy haha.
  13. I take it your in the street class mate?
  14. I wish Facebook wasn't blocked at work so I could see how beautiful this machine is.
  15. Anyone else entering at Winton this weekend?
  16. Awesome care mate and love the colour. Can't wait to see what it can do with some injectors and a fresh motor.
  17. ID1000's are most definitely the way to go.
  18. I'm new to this stuff but I get the basics of how it all works. I've done one track day with no issues and am about to do my second at Easter. I'm running a built motor with 325kw and basically all the factory plumbing (no catch can). What's the best way to check if the car is breathing properly? Pull the filters off and check for oily residue on the intake pipes?
  19. I liked the dish wheel personally. The only issue i had was reaching the indicator stick, but on the track that doesn't really matter.
  20. If my car lasts the Time Attack thing at Winton I'll be in.

Don't do that... I really want to go.

Yeah I guess I better not risk it. I think I'll hold off and sign up at the dyno day if that goes ahead.

Would it be a stupid idea if I signed up today and brought my unregistered car with a permit on it on the cruise...
