If you don't plan on spending money on a better front mount then the BA cooler will be better than your side mount but it will still heat soak once you start to push more boost through it.
If it's a BA/BF cooler it's return flow. FG's are similar to a Gtr cooler but narrower and almost twice as tall.
If the car is fairly standard the the BA cooler might be worth it but if you plan on running more than 12psi then you need something decent.
I get his point and I know it's not an ideal car. I'd rather be towing with a Navara any day. I'm just saying I didn't really have any issues towing with the XR8.
I used my old mans BA XR8 to tow my car to Winton from Melbourne a couple of weeks ago. It pulled the car no worries and sat on 110 all the way up the hume. I don't know if the gear box like the hills but it's still going.
It didn't like pulling up too quickly but still did the job when I needed it to.
She's black so it's all good. I only paid $300 for the cage and I don't plan on doing anything too serious anytime soon so the cage will stay.
Oh and I'm only running KU36's at the moment.
So in this thread they are $2500 and in your other thread they are $1100?
I thought you were selling these so you could go to a big single? Not because you sold your car...
Would you like me to send you the money before you never ship them to Australia?
I bought them second hand and then just checked that they were in good condition. I remember I got quoted roughly $1000 each to have my stockers high flowed and steel wheeled. Then I found the N1's for $1100.
Just luck I guess. But I have seen them come up for around the $1500 mark.
I couldn't out drive my KU36's at the track the other day but for the money I'm going to try Achillies next time. Seem too be pretty good.
As the other guys have said, I'd be changing to some better tyres 1st and then looking at maybe a bigger rear sway bar?
