  1. Looks like a great build. I like the way you're going with all the original parts. I take it you've still got the original Nismo 32 turbo's? Plan on upgrading them?

  5. Your right. I've had mate's with almost standard cars that have been forced to go through an epa test just because the cop was having a bad day. Another mate got canaried for having 3 piece rims and a cage even though he had the complete vic roads rules and regs in his glove box to show the officer that what he had was legal. The copper just said that he didn't care and wanted him off the road. I had no idea the rules about cages had changed. Looks like my car might end up being track only. Does anyone know much about club reg and how different it is to normal road reg? I heard some club reg rules have recently been changed also.
  6. So I can get the car on the road. It hasn't been registered in a couple of years. I'm just thinking about waiting till I can get club reg.

  8. Great progress guys. I've been training on and off for the last 5 years or so and have struggled to get much out of it. Diet is my main thing. I eat fairly healthily but I drink a lot. I'll see if I can get some progress pics up tonight.
  9. Cheers mate. The gtr seat is a shit load more supportive than the old falcon one. I guess i'll try a day with it standard and if i find i need more i'll grab a seat and harness combo.
  10. What about a harness. I've done one track day in my XR6 Turbo and it was horrible trying to stay seated. I'm about to take my GTR on the track for the 1st time early next year and was wondering how much of a difference a harness makes?
  11. That's what id like but atm I've only got a 3" cat so Im not too sure if it's worth it. If i was going to change the front pipe to that diameter id be better off going 3.5" all the way through. Id also be looking at a couple of $ to do all that.
  12. Do you mean 2.5" where it joins to the cat? If so mines 3". It's a little squashed at the front from bottoming out though so i'll replace it eventually.

  14. 350 is plenty for me. It'll mainly be a track car anyway.
  15. I thought that's be the case. I'll have to look at my whole exhaust though as it's nothing flash. HKS dumps with some generic Japanese front pipe and 3" cat back. 3" Ballistic cat.
  16. I guess i'll stick with what I've got now and when I get bored of the power i'll go 3.5" exhaust, bigger injectors and fuel pump.
  17. I'd be over the moon to run that time and mph but i'm a bit more realistic and would be happy with a high 11. Any idea whether a 3" exhaust would be holding me back at this stage and whether upgrading to a 3.5" would be of much benefit?

  19. Well that was what I was hoping to here. 350 and 120mph would be about my goal. Not willing to change cams. I've spent enough money for the moment. Also what times would i be looking at with 120mph? High 11s?
  20. I never thought I'd get anywhere near 370 with -7s but I was wondering if 350 was too much to ask for. I'm not too sure what GT-R's are like with power to mph as I've just come from an XR6 Turbo that ran 118 mph with 297rwkw. If I could get around that sort of mph I'd be pretty happy.
  21. If 550's won't get me over 330kw on e85 then eventually I'd just get a set of Id1000's. I guess I'll just wait and see how happy i am with the results 1st. Cheers for the dyno sheet. I'll have a search for the specs.
  22. Got any more info on this? I'd be happy if i could crack 350kw with e85. I know. I'm more interested as to how far they'll go on e85.
