  2. Dan @ ERD mate. 0407 111 229
  3. Great pictures Colin, looks good ay, and how is the handling now, have you pushed it into some corners yet? Whitey
  4. NIStune it Simple and cost effective.
  5. G'Day GHO57, Im the tuner at EFI, I dont normally post on here as that is Ricks (whitey) thing, The power that you are making in very respectable with a T04E. One thing to remember that a T04E does come in may different housing and wheel trims and sizes. Your 220rwkw works out to around 300rwhp which on 16 psi is pretty good. Its a little lower than 35R sort of power figures with an older style turbo you have to expect that. I would maybe ring your tuner and ask why the rev limiter is set too 6200, as this is pretty low for a 25. If the power is dropping off then maybe look at camshaft timing as this is a good give away for horsepower falling early. You say your boost controller is hitting 18psi, then dropping to 14 psi? Do you mean its spiking to 18psi then dropping to 14psi higher in the rpm? if this is the case, Its sounds like you may have a compressor out of flow or a miss match on the exhaust housing side e.g. too small exhaust housing. How is the drivablilty of the tune? does the car start and drive well? does it use a excessive fuel when not driven hard? These are things you have to take into account other than power figures. Id give your old tuner a bell, and just ask them. They where obviously good enough to go to in the first place, and they may have explanations for all your questions and even options on how to remedy any issues you have. Failing that Matty can be contacted on Performance Injection Tuning Services Unit 10 / 42 Export Drive Molendinar QLD 4214 Australia Phone : 0411 34 00 33 Thanks, Sean

  7. NIStune it.
  8. What ECU???? We tune any ECU and are a NIStune dealer. Cheers.
  9. Joel @ JD Trans is the man to go see.
  10. Alot of time and effort there mate, top job so far. May I ask why the dump going where it does? SAFE to run it there
  11. I would be looking toward the tune in the ECU, remembering microtech's have poor timing control for light throttle cruising, there injector control is also poor. The injector spray does play a part in this also, and I will honestly say this WHO THE f**k HIGH FLOWS INJECTORS. Do not use them and do not sell them. My 2c
  12. Dale's great........ We love dale. Wolf's workshop is highly recommended.
  13. If its a stainless exhaust manifold, good luck keeping the heat out. Gauge the engine temp via the ecu, see what it is reading, watch as it heats up, fans come on and if temp movement decreases. Another thing, is it too lean???? AFR?
  14. It all comes down to what outcome you want from your vehicle. Nistune around $450 mark. Vipec $2500-3000 mark. You do the math's. Putting these two ECU's together is like saying, I'll race you in my R34 GTR when you own a S13 Ca18, you cannot compare them. Bang for your buck, nistune, however you will out grow it if you want to make big big power.
  15. I got one here, ECU with installed chip. PM if need. Cheers
  16. Hello members. First of all, thanks to all who attended we had a great time. Point taken ay, we like to here the negatives along with the positives. This was like we said our first attempt at a dyno day, We as a company didnt think our first event was going to have the amount of car's/people as we did which made it hard to monitor, manage and control traffic. We only have limited staff doing there job's and even myself found it complicated at times throughout the day staying on top of the task at hand. Although there was a lot of people in EFI shirts, most of them are customers and friends who's job wasn't organizing or arranging the next car on the dyno. With feedback like what I'm reading its great, I don't mind it at all because it help's us improve for our next and up coming event's. One thing I will say is, there were a few changes made due to miss communication from myself and event staff which I'm more than happy to take responsibility for and I also know how it feels when you are waiting in line for your turn and someone jump's the Que because they know someone or have something more flashy ect. (Like being in line at a club and old mate gets in before you coz he knows the dude on the door or has a hot missus) lol Please by all mean's post your feedback negative or positive because it will go along way to helping us be better next time around. Cheers Rick White EFI Performance
  17. HAVE TO BE ON THE 27TH OF JUNE ONE DAY POWERPLAY IS ON THAT DAY.
  18. NOTE DATE CHANGES TO DYNO DAY, I THINK SAM IS STILL HOLDING A CRUISE ON THE 2ND OF MAY BUT DYNO DAY TO BE ANNOUNCED
  19. Dont forget to change the date Sam. On the opening post aswell. WHITEY
  20. On those picture of the VL,33, N1 and jun pump's, the gear drive itself isn't the worry here, its the overall surface area on the crank id be worried about when turning your engine to and above 7000RPM. The more surface area, the better the hold, strength and overall reliability of the pump will have.
  21. Yer but you can machine a collar on the crank nose of the RB30 and use a 20-25-26 pump, what i did. worked mint. JACK BRO'S in underwood QLD set it all up for me.
  22. Nistune sure do.... We have done 3 neo 34 auto's now. Doing more mod's on "sammy34" atm, hi-flow turbo, 550cc inject, Z32 AFM. Getting to the dyno today. let you all know how it went.
  23. Bill i put those brakes to good use mate. VL will be here on the day for you too look at. Looking forward to seeing your K-line. WHITEY
  24. NOPE. On the RB30 oil pump GEAR it only has 8mm surface area on the crank collar itself, where RB20-25-26 have almost 25mm surface face on the crank. You do the maths at 7000RPM.
  25. Thanks Sam, we might get throu more car's on the day im just numbering number's to save board um. Some dyno day's i have been too become so boring you end up leaving, and due to this day being more cruise related it will properly end @ our shop, then dyno run's will begin. Cheer's all. Team EFI.
