Im an auto electrician by trade and run rally cars at home, so do a lot of my own services. changed oil and filter with Motul 8100 excess fully synthetic and Ryco filter every 5000km. timing belt and water pump etc was done by Jamie at Waterhouse Auto Care at Penrith at 171,00km as belt was noisy. Have over $5,500 worth of receipts for mods. This car is my pride and joy has given me so much, would love to see it go to an enthusiast. Only reason im selling it is im over having a loud, fast car, with no room and have purchased an M35 Stagea. Pulls like a freight train, no joy riders, i dont have time. hey all, I have spent countless hours searching the internet for an answer to my problem but have found nothing, so for the people that feel like they are repeating themselves, im sorry. I have a problem with my fuel pump circuit blowing a fuse! What i dont understand is that its the switching circuit side of the relay which is blowing. so it should have bugger all load on it! To make it clear, ive had this problem before and eventually tried (just for shits and giggles) taking out the variable fuel pump control module....which fixed my problem up until now......about 4 or 5 months! and now its gone back to blowing the same fuse! Also....its only when i get into it and put load on the engine (on boost) that it blows! i should mention im running a Vipec plug and pluy ECU. which has a constant ignition supply when they key is on out of the "fuel pump control" pin (as in it doesnt go away after the pump had primed, but the pump does turn off) anyway.....ive found one english fuel pump wiring diagram for the RB25det, but im sure its wrong as it doesnt even have the fuse im talking about listed in the circuit! So my question is....WTF is going? Does anybody know what else runs off the same fuse/circuit? Does anybody have a reliable wiring diagram for RB25det? Im a 4th year auto elec so this should be easy, but not without a wiring diagram or tracing every single wire through the car to find out how the f**k the fuel pump is wired! Thanks, Chris

i used to compete at motorkhana's on dirt when i was young in a datsun 1200. so i kinda know what its about, im not going out there to set times though.....not saying i wont try on a couple of runs, but i want to have fun

guys i really really want to enter......but im a bit worried about overheating considering im running 17psi boost and like 270rwkw.....and no air flow! anyone had any dramas with this before?

might give the her a wash and come for a drive....im kinda a local so id be stupid not to right?....some not bad! i drive blue gum twice a day, to work and home again!

my car is getting tuned on the 14th, should be able to make this with bigger power....maybe 260rwkw! aint been with a cruise with anyone outside my group of skyline owners....ill bring some friends!

yeh...we backed it into a tree (see picture in last page). really fast rally, we held 5th gear (overdrive) for 5 or 6 seconds i recon at a few points. id say well over 200....230 maybe? in fact when we went off we were in 5th gear going quite fast.....90 100 possibly. road we left and Mike (my brother and driver) put the car into a spin to try and wipe off the speed. we went wide off the road and got the tree. by the time we hit the tree we were prolly only carrying about 40 or 50kph. After that we just drove away and car was mechanically fine.....kept going at full speed for another 10 or 12k till we had an unrelated overheating issue. Car just about stopped, running on two cylinders crawling along....we could tell it was gonna be a re-occuring problem so parked it and sat out the rest of the event! we are both really dissapointed, not that we put it off, when your pushing hard, it happens; but because we cant seem to finish a rally laterly cause the cars had issues. we did finish the 1st stage 3rd outright after leaving the start line 9 seconds late, which meant we would of won the stage by 4 or 5! sucks! FLN75S had a go all day and would of got top five if not for the brake issue! good effort on his part to finish when so many people didn't. check out www.amsag.com.au for pics and info on rallies past and future.

yeh it is region locked, but that does not bother me, i didn't buy it for the dvd player as such, i got it for the bluetooth (which works great) and the HD radio, which does not work! well it sucks that i bought the wrong unit! lol

hey guys, im not sure if anyone can help me or not, or tell me who to ask! But i have a Clarion VX400 double din DVD player with a THD400 digital tuner module, while i have a HD button on my unit, i cant push it, and i dont have any HD signals! Has anyone come across this before or heard of it? Cheers, Longy
