  1. Well, we came into the city with another couple we know and went to the Belgian Beer Cafe (I needed as much liquid courage as I could get!). We then took a walk to the East Perth foreshore and sat nearly directly below the fireworks at Gloucester Park and then just as the fireworks finished at midnight, I took the ring out of my pocket and asked her to marry me! Awww, how sweet!
  2. for those that are interested ... http://hate-tank.net/ring
  3. Happy New Year everyone! (image stolen from teamadrenaline.net - they stole it from images.google.com - Matt, are you happy?!) Oh, also, Avril and I got engaged WOOHOO!!
  4. It's a shame when someone gets a bit of sand in their vagina and can't deal with it properly. This thread can be closed
  5. yeah, that was a pretty damn funny sign, wasn't it? If I had my camera, I'd have taken a photo of it
  6. it's really easy to read the time once you've done it a couple of times the left hand side is for hour (1 to 12) and then on the right hand side you have 12 lots of 5 blocks for minutes... so, 4 leds on the left is 4 and 6 lots of 5 leds on the right is 30 minutes so it's 4:30! And then, when you're out pimping between the hours of 6pm and 1am (like all good pimps do) it spirals the leds every 2 minutes to let everyone know you're on the job!
  7. Best present I got this year: http://www.tokyoflash.com/viewwatch53W2LED-watches.html Apart from that, just cash, a 2 person unsulated picnic bag and some other random stuff.
  8. What condition is the steering wheel in? Is it fading/cracked or in decent nick?
  9. Head Unit: Alpine CDA-9815 CD/Mp3 Front Speakers: MB Quartz RCE 216 Rear Speakers: None Subs: 2 x 15" Rockford Power Amps: Alpine MRV-1005 for the front speakers and Alpine MRV-1505 for the subs I love bass. My setup is perfect for it. In my previous car (Pulsar N13) I peaked it at 143.9dB (untuned in a sealed box) I haven't had it tested in this car yet as it's a basic setup with the subs in a false floor in the boot, not sealed. I'm currently looking at having them put into a custom enclosure in the boot but have other priorities that are preventing me from achieving this yet! Jason.
  10. Thanks guys, I got the BIG <Insert color here> (silver specifically) blades and they're awesome. They make my ride look so sweet! Thanks again. Warm, kind and sincere regards, Jason.
  11. Thanks to those that provided valuable suggestions
  12. Which wiper blades have people successfully replaced theirs with in an R33? Mine are getting very sticky and crap and I think it's time to replace them, but funnily enough can't seem to find a specific blade for the R33. Jason.
  13. Hi everyone, Paul at Autoworx has organised a day at AHG on the 8th of January. There are currently six places remaining and cost is $65 which includes a bbq. If you're interested in coming down and having some fun, give Paul a buzz on 94092445. Jason.
  14. Have a wonderful day Gavin. Warm, kind and sincere regards, Jason.
  15. I got one of the 6 LED interior lights for my r33 yesterday. VERY bright. it has that slight purple tinge to it which all white LEDs do, but it's VERY cool. I'm planning on replacing all the globes behind the dash in the near future too. will let you know how it all goes
  16. Yes.
  17. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it You'll all just have to think I look like Alf (except taller, wider, rounder and not as hairy!)
  18. Check the whitepages (not online) for Peter Gardner or Gardener tinting ... was in Malaga or thereabouts. I've had 2 cars done through him and know of at least 4 other people who have had multiple cars done through him. Great guy, great service.
  19. unfortunately I won't be making it today as I'd originally planned everyone have fun, drive safe and have a good christmas
  20. Peter's by the Sea is good for a feed. Hopefully I'll be able to make it also
  21. I only went to SST for dyno comps and Hyperdrive for actual work My comments were based on my opinion of Ken as a person and as the manager of a workshop Don't make me come and slap you Dan hahaha
  22. and I might just rock up cause Kym's sexy !
  23. Well, I thought I'd practice what I preach and complement Ken and the boys @ Hyperdrive for fixing a problem with my car that had been bothering me for a couple of months. Took the car in, took on of the guys for a drive, came back in, bang bang bang, problem fixed. 20 minutes of my time and a very large saving of money had I taken it elsewhere. Thanks for your help Ken and Hyperdrive, it is greatly appreciated. Regards, Jason.
  24. how can this be a thread without my two cents?! ken, having dealt with your workshop, I can honestly say that you guys run a top notch organisation and that it's obviously just keyboard warriors who get their periods and don't understand how the world works who then decide to do something stupid like post some ignorant blubberish crap like we've seen at the beginning of this thread. I think Ken's quote above sums it up. Too much time on the internet (probably whinging that Jabba the Hut is the wrong shade of green since the digital edit of Ep5). if you have a problem with a workshop, resolve it with them, don't try to ruin their reputation. on an interesting side note, it's not too often people dish out complements, but it's far too regular that they dish out complaints.
  25. Are you shipping them with a different coloured back-lit screen now-a-days, or still the green lcd? Regards, Jason.
