Whilst I thank you for the suggestion to look at DOTARs and workshops that can provide the compliance service for me, it's a shame that you feel the need to assume that I haven't done a search and to suggest that I should. If I'd found the information, I wouldn't be asking people for their advice now, would I? Perhaps you could have pointed me to the threads you feel these questions have been answered in previously instead of suggesting I search? Would have been a little more positive and helpful, don't you think? Thanks once again though.

I'm looking at selling my line to get a stag as it's a little more practical for me and my girlfriends current situation. A skyline with a tow-bar is a big no-no for me. I don't think a sports car with a tow-bar is a good look. Plus a station wagon gives us much more room for all my girlfriends horsie stuff, and it's 4wd I've been looking around for a few weeks now, and know what I want (Yellow, Series 2, manual). Can anyone here give me some suggestions on importing myself? I imported my line through a broker a couple of years ago, but think I'd like to try it myself this time. Any auction sites/stockyard sites people could recommend and any other advice for importing would be appreciated. Regards, Jason.

Jason's always been a strong, masculine name Congrats again buddy, will make sure we have some cigars on hand when its born

Yeah, I agree that it would be nice to be able to argue it in court and to win, but the chances are so slim that it would be a waste of time, money and effort to do so
-
Not a chance in hell. If you've been charged with breaking the law, but you can't remember whether or not you did, not really any point in trying to argue that you didn't.

R33: Disconnecting Auto-locking Of Door
uneekwahn replied to David Kemps's topic in Tutorials / DIY / FAQ
definately doesn't lock here at any speed, and as far as I can tell, there are no wires cut anywhere, and I've been in the door well too, and nothing cut there. I would like it to lock at 25km and lock when key removed if anyone knows how to get it to this without it being a function of an aftermarket alarm -
check the build date on the bottom of the seatbelt, where it connects to the floor. Also, there was a chassis number list somewhere that detailed the chassis number and the build year. Although mine was built in 95, it was a 96 delivered model, and a series 2.

Lozzle, don't tell me you're one of "those" people who illegally download other peoples intellectual property and breach international copyright laws? YAY! another one of us! woohoo!

I've kept the stock battery since my car arrived from Japan and mid last week, after needing a jump start for the fourth time since I've had the car due to the battery going flat, I've decided I'll probably get a new one I know that part of the problem is my sunroof seems to think a button is continually being pressed when it isn't, and I'm going to get that checked soon. I run 2 x 15" rockford subs off of a mrv-1505 amp and a set of mb quartz splits off of a mrv-1005 amp. I also have a 1 farid cap. I do notice that when cranking up the tunes (not that I do it often now that I'm getting old!) that my interior lights tend to surge in time with the music What sort of battery would you recommend I get, and why? I'd like to keep under the $200 mark, so I guess most Odyssey batteries are out of the question. Jason.

greenline.jp PowerFC + Hand Controller = 79,233Y Shipping = 4100Y (For a 3kg package - I'm guesstimating on weight) Conversion = $981AU (roughly) They can be a LOT cheaper than $1600

"speakers corner" as it used to be called has been a sunday event for at least a year from what I can remember. The guy complaining that men are discriminated against is there nearly every sunday, as are the goths that hang out at the old commonwealth bank entrance doors, with one goth who regularly gets up and tells you that he was raped by a woman and that his friends regularly laugh at him for admitting it! If used properly, I think it'd be a great method for creating open discussions, but unfortunately the few times I've sat and watched (in small doses) it gets abused by too many fools, but I suppose everyone is entitled to their opinions and this forum gives everyone an opportunity to voice their opinions

I can strongly recommend Ken and the fellas @ Hyperdrive, you'll be in good hands with them

Oh what a glorious thing to be, A healthy grown up busy busy bee, Whiling away The passing hours Pinching all the pollen From the cauliflow'rs. I'd like to be a busy little bee, Being just as busy as a bee can be, Flying round the garden Brightest ever seen, Taking back the honey To the dear old queen. Chorus: Bz bz bz bz, honey bee, honey bee, Bz if you like but don't sting me. Bz bz bz bz, honey bee, honey bee, Bz if you like but don't sting me. Oh what a glorious thing to be, A healthy grown up busy busy bee, Toying with the tulips, Tasting ev'ry type, Building up the honeycomb That looks like tripe. I'd like to be a busy little bee, Being just as busy as a bee can be, Flying all around In the wild hedgerows, Stinging all the cows Upon the parson's nose. Chorus: Oh what a glorious thing to be, A healthy grown up busy busy bee, Visiting the picnics, Quite a little tease, Raising little lumps Upon the maidens' knees. I'd like to be a busy little bee Being just as busy as a bee can be, Flirting with the butterfly Strong upon the wing. Whoopee! O death Where is thy sting? Chorus: Oh what a glorious thing to be, A healthy grown up busy busy bee, To be a good bee One must contrive, For bees in a beehive Must behive. But maybe I wouldn't be a bee, Bees are all right when alive, you see, But when bees die You really should see 'em, Pinned on a card In a dirty museum. Chorus:

you're thinking of peter gardner. he does awesome tint, generally limo tint, but will do greater visibilities too. I've had 2 of my cars done through him, and mates who have had like 3 or more cars done by him.

they also look very similar to what I had on my pulsar. speedywheels "sharkmesh" is what they were called.

wow $40k. I'm definately going to give it a whirl at that price The g/f was trying to twist MY arm for us to sell the line and the stag!
-
there is a stagea forum on the SAU forums too, they also have a spotted thread etc. They are nice cars, but the stock auto ones are pretty slow and VERY boat-ish. I've yet to drive the Autech 260RS, but hopefully I will one day

Toyo Trampio TPGs are pretty decent. I have a set of 4 on my car and have had them for about a year and a half without any problem. Good grip, decent price ($350 for 255s and $250 for 235s). Got mine from Paul @ Tyrepower in Canning Vale and would happily recommend
