So the cops are out to get us or so im hearing ive only had my r33 gtst for two months .Now i hear about it .so i am an old guy 40 but i dont know but if your car is modified ,but nothing to obvious they are just going to pull you over and defect you for the hell of it .doesnt it also rely on your attitude to the police ,and if you were being a dick before hand thats a different matter .Im banking that im a old guy the cops will go easy and think well he isnt a hoon so we will let him of but thats my plan . I dont want to get paraniod when i go out as my car has been lowered 35mm hksbov and turbo timer etc this is all illegal but much safer than a lot of other cars you see on our roads in sa . also no cat and momo wheel the list goes on so if its that bad I picked a real bad time to buy one I do have a cat that just bolts in ,does anyone really know about items like the cat is there a fine or not i hear 1000 10000 dollars but that sounds like bull .I would bolt the old cat back on before regency surely bald tyres are more dangerous than a missing cat (ps extra 8kw on dyno ) you dont get a huge fine for that. I heard that most cops dont know what to look for anyway are they going to measure the clearance height etc or just defect you I really would like to know .Attitude or cops bored

Thanks Guys it seems to be about 30% or there abouts if you are going to put a number to it . I wanted to know because after putting hks intake pod 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust hks ssbov and 11 psi boost rwkw only showed 165kw and i thought great thats only 10 % more than stock but its more like 20% more

How much really is lost as a percentage from flywheel to rear wheels on say r33 I have heard 20 % to 35 % this is a big range anybody have a better idea I am talking manual trans.THX

Regards my Exhaust I have a 3 inch mandrel bent straight through with s/s super cat muffler and i did get it dynoed today and the guy said its just induction Suck now at 11 psi with bleed valve controller bov is louder than ever but 165rwkw so am happy.

My previous ride was a mazda 626 turbo and when you gave it stick you could really hear a whistle on full boost but the intake airbox was stock with my new r33 gtst it has a hks pod intake and i cant hear a whistle more like a roar when change gears bov whoosh ok from hks ssbov how much is normal as some people talk about ticking and the like all i can hear is loud roar boost shows 7 psi stock and car does fly but i am concerned turbo suspect only had car fews days and still under warranty so want to know.

As a total newbie to skylines i would like to know what is the standard output psi of standard r33 turbo gtst what are the real diffs between rb26 rb25 and how much extra power guess have i got over standard with hks intake pod 3 inch turbo back exhaust with straight flow s/s muffler plus hks ssbov also why apart from rip offs are turbos sooo expensive there is virtuallly nothing in them you can almost buy a good 2 hand engine for the price of a turbo .
