  3. from what i know injectors run out around 270rwkw! and im not running standard fuel system , ive got Walbro 255LPH , SARD Rising Rate FPR set to 33PSI on idle . I checked the plugs today that i put in last week and they are running rich , they are kinda black all over the tip . Also it backfires like crazy off throttle. So i dont know the ARF's but i will definatly keep it on 11PSI now all i was saying is it works on stock ECU , might not be safe but everything runs sweet though ( from a driving perspective ) not mechanically wise im sure
  4. ok , here is one for all of you guys that said running a aftermarket turbo of the size that i'm running will not work on a stock ecu .. Not to piss in your pocket or anything but yesterday i decided to play around and just reset my ecu using the paper clip method and to my suprise it completly fixed everything i've been whinin about .. It now boosts FINE at around 15-16psi and pulls hard right to redline .. I've got no hesitation and no popping and everything is great car pulls harder then before and really has some torque .. I was at 220kw @ wheels with old turbo and i can really feel something around 250kw + .. Very suprised with my setup that everything that i have you guys deemed would not work but it does , i don't see the need to upgrade the air flow or injectors yet maybe for power later but i'm going good now , a power fc is my future upgrade but i'm happy with stock ecu and safc neo
  5. well i spoke to hills they said it was something to do with the spark so i tried my mates coil packs and got new plugs and does the exact same thing! What annoys me the most is everyone said it was a direct bolt on package and i thought shit it should drive alright and dont have to worry bout the turbo shitting itself! . But i have had nothing but drama!.. First i had to get old turbo removed and new one fitted , They took all day to remove my old one and put new lines in and fit the turbo. I thought everyone was done and away i go , but then no they didnt heat wrap things so i removed and refitted everything with wrap. They told me my old heat sheilds would not fit but i managed to fit them yesterday no drama just bit of playing around . Took the car back to get it tuned thinkin it would fix it but still came back weird but better then before , thats when they said it was my plugs , hence why i did the plug/coil as mentioned before . It still drives like shit as soon as it wants to go above 10psi , It never did it beofre but it must be new turbo characteristics! . . I've wasted over $3500 on new turbo plus fitting/Tune and it runs worse then it did on Old turbo I think im ready to throw it all in and sell everything and go back to stock R33 ..
  6. there is nothing to prove it does because i ran close to 15psi on VG30 and it hit 220rwkw and AFR was fine and car drove like new
  7. Actually i've got a Blitz 600x300x76mm Intercooler and my AFM doesnt look normal how can i tell its got Z32 or not? i dont need an ECU it run fine on 14Psi on old turbo thats what im tryin to say
  8. Bought a Garret GT3071r and got it installed by Hills Motorsport , Castle Hill. After the car being there for around 2 days to fit the turbo and lines with a custom dump pipe made up it all went together ok and started fine . I got them to give it a tune and he said something about its bogging down hard under load whenever it wants to go near 13+ Psi . Now i had a VG30 that i used to pump around 14+ into and it drove with no drama pulled around 220RWKW. Now this turbo it runs like complete shit! when it boosts up it pulls hard then around 12 - 13psi it makes like a Popping/Gurgle sound and the car feels like ur slamming the brakes on . I drove it low throttle and then punched it around 6000rpm to 7000rpm and it didnt do the gurgle thing. Do you think he has done a lame ass tune or is there another problem? I replaced my Spark Plugs in Nov and Coil packs were rapped in insulation tape . Mods: S2 RB25DET GCG Garret GT30/71R with AR.82 Housing Acuator set at 1 BAR Walbro Fuel Pump SARD FPR set at idle 40Psi Apexi SAFC Neo Pro Mode 3" Turbo Back Exhaust

  11. hey guys thanks for the reply's i ended up calling GCG and they have a new Split Dump that has a solid steel split just like on the IW Housing , it looks like a very impressive dump pipe compared to the cheap split ones i've seen . Ill post a picture up tonight but i've got everything i need now so just about to get ready to fit everything ill let you know how it all runs but yeh it is def a 3071r just a different exhaust housing to the original GTST one they make for bolt ons

  13. Well they said its just been released it replaced the XTRGTST3071R , The badge on the turbo says " GT3071R-82 " any idea's where to get a dump pipe or is it custom made only

Hey guys this is the new turbo i have just recieved from GCG for my Skyline R33 , If you look on their website they have a version Called the XTRGTST3071r. THis is what i ordered but i recieved a call saying they dont use a modified version of the RB series compressure housing they have a new model which use's a Garrett housing which includes an Internet waste gate which is quite significantly larger then the old series and it is also blocked off from exhaust gas. Also you can get the front housing polished back like i have The only drama is now i cant use my standard dump pipe and i cannot find any such dump pipe which will suit it . Here are some pictures and yeh i was running an old 45v3 nissan turbo with Injectors , Walbro Pump , SARD FPR , Pod Filter , Apexi SAFC Neo with VG30 Airflow making around 218RWKW @ 14.1 PSI on Stock internals , what power should i expect from something like this running at the lowest setting of 14.7PSI?

  17. Hey guys i did a forum search and had a read but nothing seems to help me .. I've changed everything on my car and just after i have changed turbos which is abit laggy it drinks a whopping 30.8Liters/100km!! anyone know why its doing this for! yes i do thrash it but i wouldnt expect it that high ! thats getting close to a bughatti vayron fuel consumption
  18. really ? well it boosts up nice and fast and comes on hard . Just the noise is really weird and it only comes on around 3500-5000 then goes away its when the thing hits full boost .. It kind of sounds like it gets faster whining sound . i dont notice anything in performance loss just the noise is making me worry lol anyone else know what this could be . and yeh its only on high boost modes? maybe there is a bleed valve on my solenoid?>

Yeah well im not 100% sure what your saying is right before i put this turbo on the stock R33 S2 turbo was on there and on around 10psi it made 206rwkw and now its got the electronic boost controller and different turbo i can feel the power is alot more. I left a 06 WRX STI for dust last night but im taking my car down drags so we'll see how it goes now. i understand where you coming from but , ill get another dyno if someone can recomend one around Penrith , NSW there is complete shit all around here for dynos
  20. Hey guys got my Dyno the other day and here is the image of the Dyno Sheet. The Ai-Fuel Ratio is completly all over the place im supprised it got 217KW without a Tune on my AFC Neo which i have no idea what to map it. Mods are: * Z32 300ZX Single Turbo 45v3 Turbo * FMIC setup * Stock AirBox * Walbro 050 Fuel Pump * SARD Fuel Pressure Regulator * APexi AFC Neo * HKS SSQV BOV Plump Back * 3'' Cat Back Exhaust Mild Steel * Gizzmo MS-IBC Electronic 6 Stage Boost Controller * Low Boost 8.5psi , High Boost 13.4Psi Whenever my car is running high boost only there is a crazy screaming kinda sound (Dentist Drill Kinda Sound) i've checked everything that my mates think it is like Boost Controller and the BOV Leaking and it's nothing like that so im thinking it might be the actual Turbo? Maybe the waste gate isn't staying closed and its creeping open under full load i've got no idea
  21. Yeah well i wouldnt go past 14 even thats abit to much, I've already thrown one exhaust scroll into my Cat-Converter with Standard Turbos. Anything more then 13+ and it will smash itself to peices unless you have steel wheels on it? My Air-Fuel is all over the place compared to yours ill post a pic up now

Hey guys just got a dyno last night , Cars running *VG30 45V3 Turbo with Larger AP60 Housing *FMIC *Stock Air Box *Walbro 050 *SARD FPR *Untuned AFC Neo from Previous Stock Turbo Ran on 12psi and spiked at around 14 for a bit a beggining due to lack of tune. What do you guys think for these sought of mods should i tune the turbo a bit lower or should it be safe? 220KW sounds ok i guess
  23. hey guys , few weeks back my turbo gave way and i didnt have much money so went to SSS and picked up some VG30DET Turbo off a Nissan Leopard some weird ass car . Everything went ok , Bought myself a Gizzmo 6 Stage Electronic Boost Controller with Overboost / Spike Correction and and Multiscramble which i installed myself and set up using a guide another user here created . Now it runs perfectly on Low boost setting which is around 7.6PSI with 30 percent Gain . As soon as i go to around 10 or 11psi Modes that i have with around 5 Percent Gain at around 4500-5500 the car makes a weird backfiring / stuttering sound under full load and i have no idea what it is . Im also running an APEXI AFC NEO which i havn't touched from the other owner set it . Does anyone have a guide or settings that they are using on a simular Setup? . Its a S2 R33 with FMIC , SARD FPR , Walbro Fuel Pump and Standard Internals?
