  1. thanks for the replies fellas, i was going to start pulling stuff apart this morning but when i came home from work last night it is performing normally again, so that pretty much confirms a loose wire somewhere. I have some spare time tomorrow so ill get in there and start poking around.
  2. sup boys just seeing if anyone has had a similar problem, randomly the other day my clock and radio started staying on with the key out in park and all the rest of it (ATM im just taking the face off my stereo when its off). At first i thought it might just be dodgy wiring of the stereo but the clock is staying on too which makes me think it may be something else, both the engine bay and in cabin fuses are A OK, any ideas would be helpful othwise i will be going to the auto leccy i f**king hate electrics. thanks, Rhet
  3. spewin i missed it too had cricket both days on the weekend, pics look good boys
  4. sent you a pm about a service/regas
  5. Where will the clutch go then? You wouldn't want to accidentally stomp on the footbake going for the clutch, guess you could made the footbrake pedal really small and bend it up out the way? Risky but, just get a manual console
  6. It's sealed so there is no need to cover the hole if it will only be out for the dyno
  7. Look for the dayco kit if you can, nice and cheap and comes with belt idler tensioners ect, everything that it needed. Had mine in for 30000 now and all good I think I got mine off eBay. At the end of the day it's a timing belt with no performance gains, it makes no sense to spend extra.
  8. would be a bit anuoying topping up the oil though
  9. Is this stuff still made at the bp refinery like everything else in w.a? Or is it trucked in?
  10. Had one in my 220rwk s13 for 3 years and can't complain, as said though there are fakes out there so you need to buy off a known supplier.
  11. That's not at full adjustment but either way get a light and time it properly, if you were close to me I'd help you out with mine.
  12. If it's slipping it's rebuilt time in one form or another, other option is to risk it with a second handy but I would just built it strong if you have 200 atw and want an auto.
  13. Details would be nice, what problems? Build the auto and shift kit it.
  14. Devo, used to see you around all the time around gateways, hope the f**kn pricks burn in hell!
  15. 34 seats are a straight fit to I take it?
  16. True but it depends what you leg to torso ratio is, I'm only 6'4 but I'm top tall (heaps of shirts are too short pants to long) and my head is really close in 33's, I cop it from my mates too haha same height waist as my 5'10 mate lol
  17. If it's a series 1 stag it will be non-neo for sure, unless it had an engine swap, unlikely.
  18. Haha lol that's dodgy as f**k, No one go near these guys again
  19. I got the bolt in but it was a mess around (you have to do it up first like a quater at a time, as you screw the others in), my JJR belmouth also rubbed the floor slightly so I gave that a slight "massage" other that that easy install. Now I done it a few times it's easy peasy.
  20. If you have a stock brake S1 they are easy enough to get? Is that what your saying?
  21. If the car dives well I would check the engine and gearbox mounts, could be moving around if there are flogged out, quick and easy to rule out.
  22. Get a hone done and see how it looks, don't take to it with sandpaper, if the marks still there after a hone you can go with a bore and and lager pistons.
  23. put up a wanted to buy mate heaps of people have them lying around to sell for a carton, there is one on ebay but they want 200 dollars LOL dont think so.
  24. Just do some basic measurements to see it it's doable, I'm mean 2j's fit in s13's easy enough. Im all for something different so DO IT!!!!
  25. damn i know my area is dodgy but gees thats bad, hope they are in good condition, they are a long way from home down here.
