  1. How much you chasing for it mate
  2. Hi I'm chasing a bare RB26 Head for my next engine build/project RB26/30. I prefer it fully stripped e.g no cams, valves, springs etc. Just head and Cam Caps if possible. Looking for a cheap buy. Cheers Benny
  3. Problem solved just had to double check/confirm that RB26/30 will fit under R32 GTR Bonnet without hitting. Looks like it does with minimal mods, which is good as I have 2 x RB30 Blocks sitting in the shed just need a 26 Head.
  4. Yeah cheers I was looking at that the other night
  5. I'm slowly starting to collect all my GTR parts if anyone knows where I can pick up a cheap RB26 either whole, block/head don't care. I'm gonna strip the engine and rebuild it anyways, a blow up engine would be perfect.
  6. I'll let you know when i'm home Jordan
  7. We run over 1200 engine HP and 8.52sec pass with a JUN Billet Crank and Rods with Custom CP 86mm Pistons, Head is all Top Shelf Tomei Valvetrain with Custom 295x11.5mm JUN Cams. Very reliable engine package plenty of proof it can handle anything . Mark has got good numbers out of his Custom Nitto 3.2L approx. 1800HP full drag spec but. Both good kits.
  8. Yeah I'm looking at getting another R32 GTR sometime next year probably cost me 20-25k for a good condition one. Or either a front cut and build my engine first. You will need a good shed if you own a GTR Sean because it will need lots of attention no matter what model you choose. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  9. Would be great to but some faces to these names , as for the gearbox I pulled the magnetic bung out of it on Saturday, had a few little chunks of metal on it, I'm not too concerned about it at this stage the clutch has to come out soon for a rebuild I will pull the box apart then for inspection. Here is my favourite pic.
  10. Cheers for the support everyone, yeah would be great to be the World No.1 with a H-Pattern Box. Would be an amazing feat of engineering on our part, a lot of custom secrets in this gearbox, we must be doing something right. Here's my favourite pic with the flames out the sides.
  11. My favourite Pic has blue flames blasting out the side of it. Nitro Nostalgia is on 18th May at Palmyra hopefully tracked is prep'd well enough to give us our first 8sec pass on home soil.
  12. Also big thank you to all our SAU Supporters and local supporters as well hope to see you at this year Brisbane Jamboree
  13. It gives me great pleasure to announce that we are the New World Record holder for Fastest H-pattern Street Tyred GTR on the planet. After coming so close to the record last year at the 2012 Brisbane Jamboree with a 8.97 sec pass, we were in good contention to take the record, but in drag racing things fail and 3rd Gear decided to throw in the towel after having a promising half track time. This only left us 0.02sec off Theo's time and making us ever so hungry to achieve that goal. So we decided to head to Benaraby Dragway for the weekend for Round 3 of the CQDRA Championship to give the GTR a run. This is its first run since blowing the gearbox up at last years Jamboree in Sept. Now I really wanna give the guys and gals and Benaraby Raceway a huge wrap for the awesome event they held and the support they gave our car was unbelievable. The track condition was perfect, best I have seen if not better than Willowbank. They are doing a terrific job out there spending a lot a dollars to get that place up to spec. Great Job keep up the good work. Before I go into too much detail. I got to give our Main Man Mr Mark Jacobsen from Godzilla Motorsport a huge thank you, for all he has done for us, his support and knowledge has been unbelievable without his over the phone late night support that night this would never have been possible without him. Proud to part of the Godzilla Motorsport Team. Secondly another huge thank you to Dave Sheehy at CPV Tuning, for his continual help for the team, his valuable knowledge and input helped us immensely. Ok to the runs, we not only broke Theo Woollett's previous World record 8.95sec @ 159 Mph which has stood for over 6yrs put we managed to back I up 4 times in a row, completely smashing it out of the ball park. 1st pass - 8.91 sec @ 152Mph with a 1.33 sec 60ft 2nd pass - 8.65 sec @ 150Mph with a 1.23 sec 60ft 3rd pass - 8.59 sec @ 152Mph with a 1.27 sec 60ft 4th pass - 8.52 sec @ 162mph with a 1.30 sec 60ft With that said and done we are now gonna chase down the next record which is (correct me if i'm wrong) the CV Performance R32 GTR which currently hold the record at 8.47 sec. For the fastest radial GTR in the world with and gearbox setup. That puts us at 0.05sec behind, can we do it, hell yeah we can gonna be an exciting year stay tuned for updates. Here is the pic of the golden ticket And a couple of Vids:
  14. Yeah have only done a few changes since Jambo last put it has well and truly paid off. - Removed old fuel system which was a 40L Tank + 5L Surge Tank and the 5 x Bosch 044 Pumps all mounted in the boot and changed it to a mechanical Aeromotive Fuel Pump mounted on the back of the Peterson dry sump pump + made a custom 13L Fuel Tank mounted above that radiator. - Changed out the stock steel Brakes in Favour for full set of Carbon Fibre Strange Drag Brakes (courtesy of fellow SAU member 9krpm). - Swapped Steel doors for carbon fibre ones with Lexan windows. - Upgraded single Diest Parachute to twin Stroud Parachutes - Replaced 4" Stainless Exhaust System with a 4" Titanium Side Pipe. - Rebuilt the Broken PPG Dogbox. That is all we done so far but we still have plenty more mods to do like carbon boot, strip rest of interior etc. But my brother and I are very confident we can get the car into the 8.3 - 8.1 sec bracket with a H Pattern box that will make us the fastest radial GTR in the world then . Engine has a little bit more power left in it with E85, but will be going to methanol soon (more safety margin). We are still perfecting the Launch control and ignition cut parameters aswell. But we are gonna try our hardest to get this car into the 7sec bracket with the manual box on Radial tyres. But if the gearbox fails again there is a fair chance a Liberty Air shifted Tranny will be going in which will put us into a 7sec pass pretty easily. Really looking forward to this season of drag racing we are already of to an above expectation start.
  15. Here's a vid of the 8.52 sec pass
  16. Here some pics of last weekends record breaking runs
  17. thanks mate, even with twin chutes I was standing on the carbon brakes that hard they all started glowing bright orange. One of the officials thought my car was on fire hahaha na just the brake rotors mate!!!
  18. Have not weighed the car with new mods but I estimate it to be approx. 1300KG for car plus another 75KG for Driver, so nearly full weight still.
  19. There is always plenty left in the tank, I think the way we got that car running it will go 8 flat, We blew a boost line off so we would have been loosing HP. Hopefully next time I race ill get Mark Jacobson to come tweek it more for me.
