Adzmax, could you tell me the details of the shop/guy who is looking at your car? I am in the market for a full OUTSIDE/OUTER respray and live in the country and have no idea of any decent places in melb to go for a respray. Especially ones that don't want $3000 to do it! /me=poor :-)

goto http://www.meggala.com/ and I think there is an aircon diagnostics running sheet on there, tell you how to get into diag mode and should give you a list of error codes to tell you what is failing...

I think something similar happend to the editor of SPEED magazine, he wrote up an editorial on it, I presume from the way he wrote it it was him who it happened to. Again, in Sydney. (Let me know if I am wrong....too lazy to go and get the mag to clarify, heh)

You can buy them from an online store where I got my R32 Owners Manual->www.importdriver.com.au Or you could buy directly from the 'maker' (for lack of a better word) in NZ, I think they are called NZJP Enterprises or JPNZ Enterprises. Based in Auckland. I would say that they are worth the money, seeing as these cars are imports from Japan. You would want a suitably qualified translater to change from Japanese into English.

Are these front spoilers rare for R32's? I ask because my R32 has it, aswell as just about every other factory option available at the time (from what I have heard are factory options) /sorry for hi-jacking thread a bit/

Could you still apply the interior look-over to a car that has only been imported? Or spent the majority of it's life in Japan? THe reason I ask is because I have seen what the traffic is like in the cities of Japan, and if people are driving pretty slow and in a lot of traffic jams, you would get restless and as I have read from these forums, Japanese men tend to pick at the steering wheel. And they might move around a bit and cause more wear on things such as carpet, etc...

It has only happend to me once that someone/someones has yelled something at me... I was waiting to get back on the road after filling up at the servo, and a group of like 15-16 year olds walked past and said "Holy shit, a skyline!" then proceeded with "smoke 'em up"...

I just thought I would reiterate (spelling) what funkymonkey said in regard to avatars... I can't upload or even do anything besides delete my current one which I did by mistake thinking it would take me to an upload/update page for my avatar... I know the new vBulletin will take sometime to get running perfectly, but as the thread says..."Bug Report"...I haven't noticed anything else, but I never really used it to it's fullest abilities anyway...:-) Cheers.

thanks red17, I think I will probably wait until it becomes more evident that there is an actual problem. Would an R33 GTS-4 gearbox be ok to bolt on to an R32 GTS-4, even though the R33 GTS-4 isn't turbocharged? (not that mine is putting out gearbox destroying power! :-) ) seeing as my car is a GTS-4, am I right in thinking that an R32 GTR gearbox will bolt straight on? in the end I think I will just replace with a box from another R32 GTS-4, but was wondering the other alternatives I could use for the GTS-4... thanks again guys!
