  15. yes there are weight savings in the carbon dash but the weight savings in terms of bang for your buck are no where near as great as replacing the bonnet/doors etc. we have already picked all the 'low lying fruit' in terms of weight savings
  16. wing being shaped up
  17. I have a set of brand new ccw wheels in 18 inch with same offsets all round. Mounted on re55 rubber, new. Offsets allow wheel rotation. Perfect package except for me as I have widebody kit now and John from ccw screwed up my order. pm if interested. As for rotors go for ap racing slotted and endless mx72 pads for street/track combo. All up this type of setup is around 10k
  18. what is the wing made of/? that is some serious flex
  19. Forums do work sometimes
  20. lol, some of mankind's best work has taken place in sheds. though Luke's fabrication shed (one of the three sheds in the mercury complex) now has a lot of very cool toys at his disposal for these kind of jobs
  21. Hi Eric, yes the wing is massive but it is CFD tested by Scott Beeton. The plates (we will have spares) will be trimmed and tuned at the track test days. the front canards really arent a true representation of what they will look like as they are quite intricate and indeed also quite large. the front carbon bumper is down in sydney with the carbon fabricators getting the pieces made and a fair amount of work will be involved in getting the front wings to secure to the car given the levels of downforce applied to them and the larger front splitter. the exhaust will acually only be a single exit. it is for weight savings and reduced resistance/increased flow
