I can't vouge for them yet but I am in the process of importing a S2 R33 from SVI (Special Vehicle Imports) of the business that I spoke with they offered the best overall package eg price plus I have heard a lot of good things about them... will soon find out but I am confident they will do the job well.

Yup I have officially started the whole "import thing" I have put my $825 deposit down with SVI (Special Vehicle Imports) to start looking for a car for me. After having looked in the trading post for the last 2 months or so and only seeing one which I liked I figured meh if I am spending that much money I had may as well get exactly what I want... so I have told them exactly what I want and fingers crossed they should come up with something in the couple of weeks which I can bid on... basically asked them to get me a stockish S2 R33 Black with genuine low km's. I am just keen to get the car before I think about modding it to much but I think end result will be very similar to aurora's two shmick S2's in Canberra woot anyways I will update this thread as time goes on letting you know how the process goes and what I think of it anyways. As long as this is ok with the mod's or should I not use names ??? anyways I am confident they will get me what I am after they have been very helpful unlike some other companies who I won't name... so yea fingers crossed I should have a skyline in 2 - 3 months maybe a little more.

yea 2.5 i would agree with 3" is generally for turbo cars... i guess you gotta way it up from my little knowledge of engines smaller exhast within reason eg 2.25 - 2.5 will give better low down responce but up high a bigger exhast is better eg a 3" am i right ???

oh yea i forgot about the yellow 34 but he never parks in with the rest of us and i have never seen yours ??? but yea i did forget about the yellow 34 dang 6 syklines lol

lol i will agree with you their... what the moment their is Grey S1 GTS-T lots of mods got a j-racing sticker on it Grey S1 GTS-T fairly stock except bbs mags Black S1 GTS-T stock big zorst and looks a little lowered Stirlo's R32 GTR Aurora's S2 GTS-T very schmick and hopefully in 2 - 3 months my Black S2 but hell 5 skylines in one works car park is a fair effort lol

hehe i am only joking but yea the mods that most people have said are good starting points... unless u want to go a bit harder then u get your port and polish, cams etc etc

well i know this is a public forum but i don't care i just creamed my pants :whackit: leaving work today at the transact building what do i see parked just down from me Black Series 2 with a big front mount sitting nice and snug in the front bar decent zorst and a www.skylinesaustralia.com sticker on the back OMFG this car is exactly what i want does anyone know who he/she is i wouldnt mind having a closer look at the car if its ok i am still in awe it was amazing yes small things impress me but OMFG lol the mags i wasent a huge fan of but still a 95/100 from me so yea if the person is on the forums please pm me if its ok for me to come have a look someday i am just about to dive into the process of importing my own one.

this happened in my datsun 260z i know it isnt a skyline plus its like another 15 - 20 years older but it was the heater core that had rusted out and cracked... had to pull the whole dash off to find the problem.

i didnt think it was that green but then again i am lost now lol front bar was different to that too... i will have to carry a digital camera around with me from now on cheers kamikaze

strange as it had the Series 2 rear spoiler and side skirts appeared to be the same too... then again i guess their aint much difference other than the front bar and the rear spolier... but yea not a pretty colour but a very schimick overall car.

looks very nice except that is a series 1.5 looking at the front bar but yea i am being a little sceptical of the kms but i was told between 40,000 - 70,000 is about standard for a 96 - 98 model... fingers crossed i dont get a dud if i do decide to import one...

i spotted a very nice greeny colour S2 R33 GTS-Tone of the best looking ones i have ever seen in person... the colour is not my favourite dont get me wrong their but in terms of an overall package it looks sweet body is still stock as eg S2 front bar and spoiler etc but it has a nice big ass FMIC in the front bar OMG my pants anyways if the guys who owns it on here wants to be nice and let me have a look up close i would appreciate it as i am looking for a S2 and yours would be a good to have a look over... not to buy though

cheers for the replys and PM's guys... at the moment i am really only interested in as i have said < 65,000 kms i have been speaking with a few importing places and should be able to get what i am after for around the 23 - 24 mark complied etc so i will see how i go with them just got to read the fine print... so thanks all for the replys i will let you know if i am interested Cheers Leigh

Milage: less than 65,000kms Price Range: $20,000 - $24,000 prepared to travel a little bit eg sydney and possibly melbourne if the exact car comes up... but would prefer canberra... also recipepts and log books would be highly desireable
