  1. I have a set that may be available pending a purchase... R34 GT-T with like new toyo t1-r tyres pm me for a price if interested.
  2. Can others confirm this ??? if thats the case that would make sence as my knock sensor didnt show anything on the monitor screen... ever... but in the diagnostics it showed up noramlly about 60 driving around and as i said on a hot day with a fang like 90 - 110... if thats the case does that mean i am really just getting a knock reading of like 0 - 20 ??? as i said i have never heard my car knocking and the workshops i have taken it too also have not ever heard any knocking... i think my safc (that was stoeln) was possibly a little faulty
  3. I personally like the RB74 pads i run them on slotted rotors and find when they are warm they pull up really well... only downside is that at times they squeel like little girls usually only when they have received a bit of glazing on the rotors.
  4. Ah i didnt know you had kates car... you got one nice car tastefully modded with ample power
  5. yea just had a look at the track day photos... A Z-TUNE IN AUSTRALIA OMFG...
  6. looks like it was a good day for most people. Love the pics of the z-tune and the other 34 gtr's
  7. i had the same problems with mine... in the cold it would run at like 40 on a hot day though it said like 80 - 110 i took it to get checked out he they said it was running fine and that the safc was reading wrong ??? i thought with them though you had to set a base level which was never done on mine.
  8. the pic is not working can someone post it back up please
  9. See that's my thoughts. When it's tuned the first time it has done based on whatever the stock ecu has got in it's mind as default settings. The SAFC then just tricks the ecu into thinking what it wants... So if the battery is flat/disconnected then reconnected it's not going to know what it's original values were it will be taking what the SAFC was tuned with... i dont know maybe this is only making sence in my head as i can't find the correct words to type out
  10. ah i must have just missed you i think i rocked up at like 10:30 for a little while.
  11. cheers for that paulr33
  12. Ok can someone clear this up for me... I have an r33 gts-t with a few bolton's as such she runs pretty rich. Solution: went and got an SAFC II, had it fitted and tuned... all good power band feels a lot nicer and fuel economy goes up a little... Problem: Battery goes dead and the car feels nothing like it used to... Confirmed that the settings in the SAFC have held so it's not like it has reset it's self Ok so my questions is this... when you disconnect your battery and replug it in after draining any residual power out of the car the ecu resets it's self back to bog stock settings as such when you crank the car over it runs a little off eg idle hunts a bit etc then after a minute or two it feels normal again... I have always been told that these ECU's are a self learning ecu but that they don’t actually store any settings... eg on long trips it will adjust it for better fuel economy and if you strap it the car will get used to be revving harder and using more fuel etc... I had my safc stolen a while back so it has been running on the standard ecu. I am just worried that when I hook the new one up and get it tuned it will be fine again till the battery dies... should I disconnect the battery first then get them to tune my SAFC... or alternatively should I just wack it on get it tuned... then disconnect the battery, reconnect it and whack it back on the dyno to confirm if my suspicions are correct. Any comments including rage are welcome
  13. bah what time were you out sig i didnt see you.
  14. scary stuff i guess thats why when i did my course they reiterated about 1000 times don't trust any cars on the road and always expect them to do something stupid because if on the odd occasion they do your f$@ked
  15. well i have a dinner in civic at 8 so i might swing past on the way home but even if people are around i will probably say hi chat for 15 and go i am sooooooooo tired
  16. I didnt know it was for sale but then again i have not seen nathan in while
  17. sinista is silver with carbon bonnet and as others said snooze is the only white skyline i know with a carbon fibre bonnet but it's a gts-t not a gtr... unless jayce got a carbon fibre bonnet and some how got his car back on the road but i doubt it
  18. Spot on... when the head lights are turned on you should have all 4 cook tops light up. When you apply the break they become brighter... This is for a r33 gts-t
  19. hey geoff was that thommo's car from this forum looks like it.

  21. damn thats a really good price like mivic need them for a 33 gts-t get some for that price and i am sure you will sell them no worries
  22. tools are everywhere unfortunatly not a lot you can do about it except vent every now and then as others mentioned i am sure these people will get some sort of payback... what goes around comes around. Yea my highlight is still going along past the woden hospital doing the speed limit (80km) and a early model commonwhore comes up next to me with like 4 guys in the car and the passanger starts doing the hand signal for doing a burnout ??? i am like wtf A: i am doing 80km's and couldnt bag it up if i wanted too. B: i don't need to try and impress a car with 4 guys in it... C: you drive a commodore...
  23. take your code talk to pm's girls i think i follow parts of jayce's last post but not all of it haha
