Pete's car was looking pretty second hand at the end of the first stage on Saturday morning, had a fence pailing lodged in the front bumper and lots of shrubs hanging out. rear lower Bumper hanging off etc.
Be interesting to see what the engine failures were in the 35's
I think damo should give up his day job as an auto leccy and become a seamstress. I could see him on the sewing machine punching out overpriced designer dash's.
Good job guys!
I never had much luck doing the double flares myself ben, how did u go with them? I ended up just taking them down to tas brakes to get done.
Its coming along well though, looking forward to seeing it on the road!
Whoops Targa I meant, spoke to my sister recently who works at Wrest Point and she said it was filling up (was full for TWP), and Strahan is usually booked out by now.
So thats general info for anyone out there now
Yeh thats was crap, Merseylea from memory???
And remember someone has to clean-up, repair that shit afterwards.. and councils don't like repairing roads out whoop-whoop... Hence some say don't come back
Auto FG Falcons are rated to 2300kg, the V8 is thirstier than the Turbo, plus the turbo has alot more torque down low. Cheaper option would be the N/A 6, which when run on 98 have a healthy 420nm
A few were running VERY low on 98RON leading up to the stages. Topping up with just enough jungle juice to get through the stage, then splash and dash of 98 to get to the next stage and so on.. Someone cottoned onto this however and a fuel tester was manned at the end of some stages.
Sorry I didn't get back to you snowman, didn't see the msg till friday and you already had the ever capable Brisby lined up. Sounds like he is a natural!
