  2. HELL YEH GUYS!!!!! EXCELLENT JOB!!!! I saw some footage of the weather and I don't envy you at all, it looked horrid!!! So has Russ got the bug?
  3. Its pretty much like that for any car, a guy I know was drifting his XR6 Turbo a few years back at Symmons Plains and a head honcho from ford australia happened to be driving past the track, saw it and wrote down his VIN and put a nationwide void on warranty for it. Even little things like fitment of lowered king springs and aftermarket wheels can void warranty, so im not at all surprised at the GT-R having these kind of terms.
  4. Its the media day today!!! From what I heard it was the second corner in on the media/shakedown stage at Highclair, on green tyres!!

  12. A client of mine paints Marcus Ambrose's and alot of V8 supercar drivers helmets, I asked him what I would be looking at to get mine done and it was around $1600, however if I left it with him for a few months it would be about $800. I think ill live with a few marks for the time being. Im not really fussed about a fancy pattern...

  18. I know the course probably isn't confirmed at this stage, but I think you will find Targa Rookie starts and finishes in Launceston. So no need to move! But seriously you guys doing the Rookie will LOVE it, easy event to step up into. I had a farken ball even though we finished closer to the bottom due to an engine failure on day 1. I had an even bigger ball with Benny this year doin the full thing!
  19. I bought my suit from the States and it was FIA 8856-2000 and SFI/5 approved, It was cheaper to buy it then as the dollar was about .96 US but i believe now you will find its around .80 US. Things to factor in include Currency exchange fee's. Add into this they rip you off for shipping and aren't willing to declare a lower value. Also as its a clothing item there is a tarriff of 17.5% on the total amount (includes shipping). Starts to seem like its hardly worth it. I still saved a bit on buying from the US, and the fact that at the time they didn't sell mine in Aus was probably the only reason. It can be purchased now from Revolution (Puma) and they had some pretty good deals on from time to time. I probably wouldn't do it again. Just my 2c
  20. Guesty, are you still going to use this for Tarmac events? Just curious about your engine and what your doing to it. Spurry does a good job with the cages doesn't he!

  22. Wow thanks for setting me a target now!
