  2. i opted for the std size fuel rail and have just bunged GTR injectors in there (top feed). no collar is required, however you need the GTR insulators as the RB25 ones are too big (you will see the two different sized cut outs in the injector seats on the plenum). you can use std rail and there is two option, both in the manual, one looks messy and shit and the other neat.
  3. yeh ive seen a few stock r32s getting round with screamers lately and they sound real diirty, filthy, nasty... more like an exhaust leak or something
  4. He had it low mounted, ive got to high mount it. Taken all bolts off the exhaust housing except 1 (which is loose, but the oil drain fitment is in the way), but i cannot for the life of me get it off or move it to get the last bolt out and rotate it in an orderly fashion. HELP me PLEASE!!!!!!!! <- thats a pic there in my signature cheers Tim

  8. Hi guys, been so busy i forgot to post this up on SAU. ANYWAY January is a big month so starting on the 6th there is going to be a big weekend of things happening. As some of you may have heard on NS.com a young fella commited suicide earlier in the year (South Australian). His parents Mark and Julie, thought it would be better to get youth suicide awareness out there rather sitting at home grieving. They are going to be here for a week to promote the awareness of youth suicide and 'rattle the tin' for a local charity, which they chose to be Parakaleo www.parakaleo.org.au since ben owned an S13 and was a drifter it was decided in his honour to do it in an import style weekend. They have since bought and modded an R32. 6th Friday- Devonport Mall: information session about youth suicide awareness/prevention, accepting donations + a few cars on display (no doubt some of you will have seen RIP Dr1ft_Pig_13 stickers on a few imports). 7th Saturday- meet at High Tide (cove) 10/10:30 for registration of the cruise, $10 donation gets you a cruise pack and a ribbon signifying your on the cruise. Cruise departing 11:30/12pm (being flagged off by a council member). Travel to sheffield where there will be a first meeting point, a BBQ and some fund raising opportunities (Parakaleo is located nearby). The cruise will then travel to ETC in Elizabeth town for a regroup point and opportunity to use bathroom facilitys etc, at the current stage there is no further re-group point between here and launceston but that may change (will be in the cruise pack no doubt). Finish the day meeting in Bathurst St Car Park estimated time of 5pm. 7:30pm there will be a video/information night at Speedy Tyres, Bathurst St Launceston. 8th Sunday- Meet 9/9:30 Bathurst St Car Park, to leave by 10/10:30, only stops on the way are Cambell town. Next meet up point will be at Rosny College, HOBART around 12:30pm. The cruise will then make its way down eagle hawkneck to Port Arthur (exact route i am not sure, i have left this in the capable hands of locals EG Toffy). 9th Monday- There will be something pending approval of hobart council in the mall or on the corner where CBA is similar to what was in Devonport on the friday. 10th Tuesday- Same but in Launceston, and this has been confirmed already. alot of preparation has gone towards this so i hope all can attend, a much larger official flyer will go up in the next few days. This is a chance to have Import cars seen in 'a good light' so do your bit for charity, promote youth suicide prevention/awareness, and been seen as a caring youth and import enthusaist. if you have any questions or want more info or genuinely want to help out email me: [email protected] thanks for your time regards, Tim,
  9. i believe the latest LT12s and lt16s have a wideband sensor which you can effectively 'self tune' if your game, don't quote me on that though
  10. apparently not
  11. Getting my sump modified to clear the crossmember in my S13 and i am wondering while at it, is there anything else that i could do to it to aid my engine in running reliably (READ:not starve of oil). I don't know anything about sump modification (im not doing it myself either). The person doing the fabrication has done plenty b4 but mainly only V8's and stuff. The car is going to see its fair share of the track + plenty of weekend touge. I have heard ppl talk about batwing and gated sumps, but never seen any r33/rb25det's with sump modification carried out. if someone can advise it would be greatly appreciated, i don't want to spend extra money/do extra work if its not necessary. Cheers Tim,

Yes so much Kentox about, rob glues himself to the passenger seat of a sexual red 180, in hope some girlys will give a wave
  15. mmm yes i forgot about the SRM Screw superchargers, remember seeing torque/power curve on an SR with one of them
  16. http://capa.com.au/vortech.htm thats probably what you want, but then the trouble of getting headers made and everything just seems to kill the worthwhileness, i considered this b4 getting a GT30
  17. Fuel rail and TB fitted TB sorry crap quality, it was on my phone
  18. So really when someone says they are putting 'BIG' cams in, in actual fact they are smaller
  19. XF isn't 'that' much bigger than std anyway and its bolt patter is smaller (work that out), i wouldn't waste my time with one of them old things now anyway, i got my Q45 for about $150 delivered from japland. hunting issues? were you using the VH45 AFM too? i heard a few ppl have that problem, maybe a defective TPS? im getting weird signals from doing some test with a multimeter on mine, and im not sure which plug to use?
  20. http://www.livesockets.com/quoc/rb/ this website was very helpful, although i have been lazy and not fitted mine yet, it has made me understand whats going on. i ended up buying a Q45 (VH45DE) throttlebody as it bolts straight up and is a big 90mm sucker. originally the water line ran from the back of the block, through the throttle body, and back into that spot next to where the thermostat housing is. So I think the propper way would be to place it there.
  21. on the question of cams and cam gears, my mate had Poncams (IN/EX) and cam gears fitted to his car however the cam gear for the Inlet could not be fitted. I told him it may be because the Poncam's like to rely on the NVCS solinoid, therefore the cam gears can't physically fit on due to a different bolt spacing or what ever?...... is this whats going on?
