  1. Roy, Here is a link that works, http://www.castrol.com/liveassets/bp_inter...90_B1278983.pdf I might try that oil in my box when i put it back in, had a tendancy to crunch into 4th (woulda thought 2nd or 3rd be first to get noisy). On the topic what oil do you run in yer diff?
  2. Yeh the ripple strips have a flat edge reverse track which is what nathan hit a wheel on, bending suspension arm. the Hairpin was awesome tho!
  3. i don't know that they do or not, my mounts are about 2 inch's rearwards of the normal CA box mounts, but my engine sorta sits a bit lower and further back also. I got RB20 box (was told it was 25, till i took it out) babow! I can't see why they shouldn't fit, as VL's run basically an RB20 box, and VLT's run same as RB25 i was under the impression??
  4. cool, well i dunno if i even need one yet, but am joining the LCCT when they renew in December.
  5. Stuart, Whats the cost involved for a CAMS licence? ive been told $450, i already have officiating licence for F4 Flag Marshall, S4 Scrutineer, V4 Rally/Offroad, J4 Specialist and U4 Gen Comp Area.. i dunno what i can use them for tho as atm i only do targa, but i know a drivers licence is different tho
  6. Reverse track and its gonna be made safer so they can run it reverse more often! best bit of my ride was the Munji down the straight, huge angles and speed and then too hot into the sweeper spinning out!!!

  10. Yep hire the track for a day is $99 per person if your not a member of a club. Motorsport Tas are amazed at the turnout and hope to hold more events soon, and while its still hot on the press (next 6 weeks). they are also talking about making the track a bit safer to run in reverse.. ie make pit entry safer so you don't get what happened to Adams car on sunday. gonna be sick!!! time to work 24/7 on my car!
  11. disco potato's go for about $1300 new if you want the added benefit of a new item.
  12. Yeh was a fantastic day... Thanks goes out to Adam for taking me on the Drift of a Lifetime! Was the best experience i have ever had! Its absolutly crazy how fast they go sideways! and an incredible feeling of facing a wall yet still in control! Most impressive was the hairpin, accellerate into it in third, handbrake then power all way through!
  13. not hard when you see a bayside blue r34!!!! and then car acc installs send me MMS msgs with pics of your car!
  14. 11th June Baskerville Raceway - Practice day open entry, scrutineering starts 7:30am, Prictice 10:00am. 15. its not going to be like v8 supercars so i reckon there will be room if you get there early... i can ask some of the FL crew if they haven't already left if its ok.
  16. you mght be able to park in the pits?
  17. so this is not your car then gatty? as i have the bits here now.. just been busy with work and stuff lately.
  18. i had clear covers over my plates and with the old cameras it just blanked out white, no spray or nuttin. new camera's different story. but there is this holgraphic stuff you can put over plates which looks fine from the rear but at 45 degrees its blank
  19. I personally would build a bridge and cross it.. however if i owned an excel id probably jump off the bridge.
  20. Scotty! you been hiding under a rock? Few of us are leaving at 7:30 to be down there at 9:30ish which is first time on track.. we reckon this is when most of the spins will happen, but nothing ever runs on time!

  24. can't wait to see it down south
  25. Whats wrong with a hotted up gemmi??? Lol! everything!!! sad thing is there is so many old bombs getting round with rims worth 5 times the car... i see it every day cos the Housing Commission building is opposite my work and they all pull up in their XF and VK commo's with loud zorsts not a single panel the same colour or with out a dent but with big rims and fat tyres. Shaz, Keithy and the kids Jaydon, Shapelle (sorry to any fans) and Shaniah all in the car with their big dog (which eats better than them) and Shaz smokes a pack of smokes while waiting for Keithy to come back out without having to pay their susidised rent cos they reckon they have no money.
