  1. Just curious to know how much a second hand set of these rims would go for in an 18x9"? these are the wheels if your unsure and they would be for an S13 but i am considering a 5 stud conversion
  2. its not, but anything will do for a starting point, if i can't find some good off the shelf ones till i can afford to get a nice custom set made std manifolds aren't too bad
  3. yeh ill go for a look, can't wait to see a heap of over powered whales on a slippery re-surfaced track! mainly for the chicks though
  4. my god that would be a beast, engine sits so far back in the engine bay you could almost consider it a mid engined car! im guessin' its not too shabby in the handling dept?
  5. thanks megz, i am not sure if you mean std or aftermarket. in that case what about RB25DE's? would be looking for something tuned length like a pacemaker style, probably willing to spend up to $500 if need be.
  6. kinda a weird question to be asking but where would i look to for Extractors to suit a Supercharged RB25DET (note no turbo is involved). and what size exhaust would be involved? particularly for a 250+rwkw motor? i already got a 3" cat back, but a std dump/front and cat. but i was thinking a 2 1/2" would be more suitable to allow some back pressure. and do RB30 extractors fit RB25s? or are the different stud pattern?
  7. there is a guy on NS.com selling a pretty nice manifold here is a link http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...showtopic=55472
  8. what if the RB25 rods have been balanced, shotpeened and linished, and possibly being crygen frozen? (if you've got em use em ^)
  9. yeh i got it on video pulling more than 100 (think was 260/280 from memory) and it was smoking on the rollers, would of expected more, but sounded like it had some problems
  10. she was driving the wrong car though.. with a name like datto she should have been driving a skyline!
  11. yeh i understand that, but what about something direct fit?
  12. Ive been doing some research on the forum all about my rebuild so i know exactly what im in for and to do it right the first time. now i am currently running what i believe is a R33 GTR fuel pump (its a JECS, can't remember the part number) and the guy told me its rated at 400hp. i am also running a Malpassi RRFR which is running std pressure i am led to believe. running std RB25DET injectors which i believe are high impedence side feed. i am also running a microtech Mt/Lt8. i have heard that pretty much with my fuel system i could push 250rwkw. but 200-250rwkw would be what i would use for the street, if i were to go to the track strip or dyno i would like it to be easily able to push 300-350rwkw what would be my best bet to replace them with? all the confusion with high/low impedence, top/side feed, collars and o rings is getting me really confused. what would my best bet be? induction is gonna be capable of 600+ hp but i don't believe i require that!!! (would be fun plonk that on the dyno infront of my tuner though!)
  13. wasn't trying to be funny i gotta do my research though! On that note i found an ad for them in a magazine they seemed to put them with all their kits (the 600+ps kit) so they must be ok
  14. are venolia forgies any good?
  15. what boost level is the limit that you should go before requiring forgies? does this also taking into account how many revs the engine is going to do. trying to draw up a budget for my engine rebuild and want to make it bullet proof but on a budget. the particular form of induction i am hoping to use is good for 20 psi max, 1,000 cfm of flow and up to 680hp. its gonna be $$$ everywhere i look, i then need to look at injectors what to get there, bigger fuel pump and on and on. it will be fun though, and i wanna go on the dyno next year at MAS!
  16. is that new? eg from Nissan? or is that 2nd hand price from the forum?
  17. are these a direct fit? i know bearing clearance may be an issue, but if u are replacing them it doens't matter ne way. but are they the same length etc? what would i pay for a set? would it be a better option to get the RB25 rods cryogenically frozen?
  18. short runners on a lower revving engine which makes its power more in the mid range... not cool.. why u wanna get rid of the RB25 manifold? just get it port matched and flowed?
  19. most likely
  20. Yeh phat R33 and myself made the trip over and we were really looking forward to seeing it reclaim the record. was unfortunate what happened, but luckily no major damage! on that note all us 15 platinum boys were on the top row 2WD grandstand watching, i stood up to start filming, nearly fell off when it popped!
  21. hmm might have to talk to you about superchargers then... im contemplating one for my car, waiting for capa to get back to me with their thoughts on the capability. don't flame me cos of this post anyone
  22. what did you pay for the 26? i would love to put one in mine, but its just not gonna happen.. prob cheaper to rebuild my 25... i want it on the dyno next year!!!
  23. osmans got like 330 or 380 at all 4s but with NOS (thats what i call soft).
  24. yeh ive only heard good things about them, which is unusual in tassie
  25. Umm id have to say that you were one of the more classy chicks there, so many s*uts and the like getting around that would have been more suited to the large population of strip joints in melbourne (i stayed in king st and counted about 6!) in particular osmans chicks saying to everyone 'have you voted yet?' I said no, but i ain't voting for that thing! (was waiting to get bashed by osmans)
