Hi all, i have done a big search for oil filter kits on SAU and a few other websites and not much came up. any way i am halfway through taking the RB25 out of the silvia, and i have noticed that it is impossible to get access to the oil filter with the engine in. i figure the simplest solution would be to get a remote oil filter kit, and possibly an oil cooler while i am at it if funds permit. nothing much came up in the searches, and i do not want to pay for name brand jap stuff. wondering if anyone can help me as to what is available?? (i remeber someone told me ages ago about one you can buy).

umm yeh i did, but my memory card spat it i think.. too soon to tell camera is still in someones car i think?

the silvia, i have completely stripped the engine bay, and hope to have the engine out this weekend. see what a bit of welding can/can't fix. else i gets me a new engine

wouldn't say i have seen it 'drift' but i have seen it 'try' to swing a nut, not much success. sounds toffaz though *exhaust is off my car, just wish i could start it!!!*

yeh not a bad day, weather held out well... m_rickards car is crazy!!! was cold, but a good fire and a few brews made it a night

yeh mate of mine can't praise them enough! bought heap of parts off them, including a Nismo brass button out of their GTiR (never used as it was ineligible for targa) they brought it down with them and delivered it while running in targa

Hmm dunno if its the same, but on my mates MR30 headlights on and door open it makes that ding noise, mine doesn't as its been ripped out

hmm anyone done lake barrington hillclimb D1 style? Mick from speedys has been out to symmons plains a few times to practice drift. wants to go to baskerville for more corners

i dunno i had 17x7 +38 offset and i had 5-10mm clearance between tyre and strut in front, u would have to go coilover i think. i would like 18s for my S13 though at that price!

hmm i suggest u post this on sr20transplants yahoo group, the 910bluebird forum and nissansilvia.com should get a decent response. hell id buy one, but i got a microtech with dash and logger software!

if only this job came up 10-12 months ago, i was ready to move to the mainland then for work. there is next to no performance workshops down here. apprentice mechs do oil/filter changes for 5 years and don't learn shit. which is why i refused to become one here. Tasmania the unlucky state! don't have any good cheap RB25DETs up there do u? been trying to source a reasonably priced one for ages, that water pump i bought off u guys last year didn't end up being the problem, now i need a new engine!
