  1. if its viscous, its non-servicable, maybe you need to change the oil in it? u could shim it to lock it up a bit more aswell at the same time
  2. i am having a crack here but i am guessing that where the press reg goes into the manifold cut it and fit a T piece. this is located at the front of the engine near the injector for cylinder #1. sorry for the vauge discription. why not just use one of the many vacuum/boost lines free on the inlet manifold?
  3. you will not that the two clubs mentioed above have sponsor, they are however just local businesses which provide many services and products to members and are sponsoring entry to Autosalon Melbourne in september. sponsors do not hand over cash for nothing, you have to spend a considerable amount with them, provide some kind of services back to them etc. website looks good though
  4. yeh lets all put reistors in for no apparent reason. it could gain up to 20hp, but it could also advance the timing to detonate your engine so bad it dies
  5. im just waiting for some nutter to hook up the Territory's AWD system to an XR6 turbo with one of these APS setups!!!
  6. look at: www.platinumcarclub.com local club that started up u can use cjb.net web redirection services like these clubs www.tassiecruiseclub.cjb.net
  7. hey just curious, seeing a mech long nose r200's are hard to get, anyone thought of using a viscous short nose center and shimming it.. cos that can be done. im thinking of doing it to the diff in the silvia
  8. what does it look like dude?
  9. yeh ive seen RB20s in 910 bluebirds and they had to relocate radiator, bash firewall, custom plumbing that looks a dogs breakfast. don't bother, go to maddat motorsport and they will hook you up with a decent setup
  10. meaning that the 2 reverse lights had grimy crud in the lense and i cleaned as much as i could off, but i couldn't get to the corners as you can see from the pic where abouts in tassie are you? a few get about up here, but not many worth a mention
  11. i suppose if u had a vent to atmo catch can, running a pressurised afm setup would be ok, no issues with oil coating the element
  12. i can advertise on nissansilvia for u if u like? give me all details to [email protected]
  13. high mounts are the go! look sexy and all if thats what floats ur boat
  14. hmm so that would be why mine is missing!!! what would you need a flare for? 'drifting with one arm out window holding onto flare!'
  15. U don't even have to ask! i already have future plans to enter targa (unsure when, what in etc). i have an abundance of known sponsors who would consider sponsoring. mind you i am not interested in winning the modern category, there is too many hottly contested teams with endless budgets (IE a few porsche teams there had 4 'autoarts' commo utes and 4 porsche cayennes following as crew). not to mention Justjap with their bus, truck, mini vans support crew etc etc i would really love to do it in a Group C bluebird replica!!
  16. FJ manifolds basic? anyone seen michaels yellow bluebird wagon? was from QLD (built by fantasy performance) now in tassie. the best looking tuned length, split pulse manifold i think i have ever laid eyes on.
  17. fark me they wouldn't have been cheap!
  18. will the SC12 supercharger suffice? i mean ive seen vortech blowers on them
  19. true, good example was the Group C gibson bluebird 80hp at 3000rpm, then bang 3500 it sky rocketed
  20. hey dude i am in tassie and have a pair of HR30 Taillights that are in average condition
  21. RB25DET, in tasmania anything is legal, but if it really does smell alot i may have to take another approach. ill have to pull the bastard of a catch can out and figure out what to do with it all together
  22. and if you vent your catch can to atmo can you block this off or do away with it altogether? (i seem to get sh*tloads of oil in my intercooler piping).
  23. hey guys check out this one i remembered from ages ago; DIY Catch Can
  24. i have a custom one which came with my car but i have never hooked it up, it just doesn't seem to have enough outlets/inlets. its been made to shape to your strut tower and has two inlets at the top and one (drain) at the bottom. i am guessing i will have to finish it off by cutting a hole in the top and fitting a cap/filter to vent to atmo. and of course stuff it with steel wool. as for the pcv what does this do? is it just a one way valve for the breather pipe?
  25. hmm i remeber a magazine a few years back had this workshop in melb i think and the guy there was nutters, had a 1000hp gtr that was his daily driver and a s2000 or s14 track car (don't quote on this). hmm would cost most ppl their weeks wages just to run the bloody thing to and from work!
