Sounds like a plan Stan... err I mean Mark Kat the futsal thing was everyone, not just SAU... part of the event was to meet there and then drive to the old Belconnen location. So it just seemed a bit pointless this time since it's so close!

So we can just rock up at the location?... none of this meeting at the futsal place crap and "cruising" there (cos it's pretty much just over the road LOL)

  8. Hope no one from SAU was the victim here ACT Policing has arrested four people and recovered three stolen motor vehicles after a distinctive stolen light blue Ford Falcon GT was sighted by police in a Yarralumla backyard. The Ford GT was one of two vehicles stolen during a burglary at a Chifley home in the early hours of today (November 10). The second vehicle was a Nissan 350Z, both vehicles were stolen using the keys taken during the burglary. Police discovered the GT around 1pm today, after it had been reported that a male had allegedly assaulted another man at the Narrabundah shops before driving off in the Falcon. A short time later police on patrol in Yarralumla sighted a male who ran from police leading them to the rear yard of the premises where the stolen GT was located. Three males were located with the vehicle and subsequently arrested. The first male, identified as a 21-year-old Narrabundah man fled the scene. He was later identified driving a suspected stolen motor vehicle in Kingston and was arrested by police. A few streets away from the Yarralumla address the Nissan 350Z was recovered containing property suspected to have been stolen from another burglary at a restaurant in Kingston also in the early hours of the morning. Three men and one juvenile male will face the ACT Magistrates Court and ACT Children’s Court tomorrow (November 11) charged with multiple property crime and traffic offences.

  13. Nah been logging into shared computers so maybe it left my name in there or something (although I'm always really careful to log out!) Just pisses me off cos I can't fix it (which means I can't use it) till I get home on Saturday!
  14. arrgh some wanker has tried to log into my Facebook, so now I'm logged out cos they've tried to guess the password too many times I can't do the password reset thingy cos I don't have access to my email right now cos I'm away.. f**kERS!
  15. I think it's random... with my R33, the compliancer put in 3 seatbelts in the back, but the plate said a 4 seater so I actually had to get the middle belt taken OUT I just think they go with whatever they feel like on the day LOL
  16. Spotted a few Skylines in NZ... not many though! Mostly spotted 4 doors... having no local car industry means there's heaps of imports used as day to day cars and they're not seen as anything special! HEAPS of Caldinas!
  17. Staple it to his chest!?!?!

yeah but you can go right around the corner too.... the German show had the VW's and Audi's around on the grass next to that sweeping road that goes under Commonwealth Ave bridge.
  19. Mine came with cruise control, previous owner installed it ($700!!!). It's awesome! Although I'm so used to not having it I keep forgetting to use it lol
  20. The one I saw wasn't lime, it was more a "forest green"... kind of dark but not too dark... umm like a grass green maybe LOL... yes I'm shit at descriptions
  21. I luuurve my R34... so much nicer and newer than my R33 Can't tell you any issues cos it's been perfect, just look for a good clean one I guess! happy to let you drive it, but it is a manual coupe so a bit different to what you're looking at buying. But seeing if you fit should be the same? I'm away for 2 weeks (leaving tomorrow) so it would have to be after that
  22. I don't know if it's the same one, but I saw one like this yesterday (I think it was)... had a chick driving.
  23. I would go the R34 GTT... you could get a good one for around 18K and you'll have enough left over for insurance with your budget. I agree with Marc, a R33 GTR could be a little more tired, more maintenance etc... to me it's more of a car you get if you have good mechanical knowledge and have the time, money and space (garaging!) to baby it. It's not what I would get as a uni student, especially if you're going to be driving it there as a daily driver. Resale value? It doesn't matter which one you get... it won't be pretty so I wouldn't be getting a Skyline if that's important to you Standard or modified is entirely up to you. I just bought a GTT and I wanted a stock one as I didn't want one that someone else had messed around with too much. I ended up with a few minor mods that were a bonus but the car was clean and unmolested. I don't have the money to be putting it in a workshop if other people's "mods" get issues, and I don't have the knowledge to fix it myself. Good luck and welcome to the forum Toni
