yeah that's what I meant pretty much - "out of the box" faulty On a similar note, I know someone at the moment who bought a fridge from Harvey Norman and it arrived with dents. They've refused to compensate her (ie. in the same way you'd normally get a pretty good discount if you bought a "scratch and dent" whitegood). They've only said that they'll replace the fridge but they have none in stock and and a new one could take weeks or months and in the meantime she's not allowed to keep the dented one. So she would have to go with no fridge Moral of the story, Harvey Norman are wankers
