  9. lol yeah I've had mine tell me to turn off the hume at goulburn when I'm on my way to sydney - wtf?? but besides the odd weird moment like that, I've had no troubles with my navman. I've used it heaps in sydney and brisbane and couldnt do without it now. I use it for the speedo reading too cos it's more accurate.
  10. I can't believe how many complete morons there are on the road lately. Yesterday I was at that little roundabout in Phillip, and this wanker in a Magna sat there even though there was millions of times he could have gone... eventually there was me and about 20 cars waiting behind him... and then he FINALLY goes - straight into the way of an oncoming motorbike!!! wtf?? The guy on the bike had to stop, and then physically make his way around the front of the Magna which was sitting in the middle of the roundabout. This especially makes me mad as my brother was hit in exactly the same situation a couple of months ago and now has metal rods in his leg from a broken shin. Not to mention being on crutches and unable to work for months. f**king idiots
  11. my mum's getting a golden retriever calendar, some baileys chocolates, and some window sox for her new x-trail. dad's getting a book on native flowers, and a voucher from ARB to buy stuff for his hilux.
  12. I have an idea, we can use his wheelchair to carry the stuff... he can walk! you should be happy! it takes the focus away from picking on you for a change!
  13. it's just the angle... I swear!!!! are you a cop? I still want to take you shopping with me this weekend, for the front door car park hehe good to see it worked out, I saw him taking it, plus the others where he just stuck his arm out the window with the camera facing backwards and hoped for the best

  16. Thanks for a great cruise guys!! Thanks to Donnan for organising it and leading the way and being safe and patient when stuck behind a row of f**ktards doing 80 haha lunch was yummy - probably a good thing the pizza place was closed after all here's my pics, including the posing shots http://www.pbase.com/driftspice/gallery_28 omg yes yes, you are the bestest and yep the tyres are great! they were still a bit slippery at the beginning of the cruise as I hadn't driven them enough yet, but I really felt them kick in on the way back. Went down to the hyperdome today (not far) in the rain and they were awesome... it's been a while since I've felt safe driving in the rain lol Thanks so much for organising them for me!!
  17. it's ok, I will be at the museum after all my passenger (who I was going to pick up in Queanbeyan) can't make it. PS. I had sexah new federals fitted today w00t!!1
  18. okies.. have just given you 5 stars yay!
  19. ooh how do we vote, do you have to register or something??
  20. So, I'm driving to work this arvo... and as I'm crossing over Drakeford Drive (on O'halloran) a van coming down Drakeford doesn't stop at the red light and almost t-bones me. It had been red for aaaaages so he wasn't even "running" the red light - he just went straight through like it was green! I'd say he was doing about 100km/h. I'm feeling very very lucky right now. Anyone else had a near miss?
  21. I dont have a garage either was considering changing to Shannons but I guess not.. I'm with Suncorp, they're seem to be ok, but I've never claimed so can't really say. Love their pay-by-the-month though, I couldnt survive without that, although they do charge a fee for the privilege unlike Shannons
  22. i hereby rename you "killjoy" ooh I just assumed Saturday... didnt someone post Saturday? or am I imagining things.. I think for the sake of not confusing people we'll lock in Saturday, as thats the most popular..
  23. well he hasn't yet get with the program Glen! I will join you guys as you go thru Queanbeyan... so don't wait for me at the museum.
  24. just spotted a Festiva(?) which had made a massive mess of the steel barriers at the roundabout on Sulwood Drive where you come over the hill on Athllon Dr. This is the 3rd seperate accident I've seen there at this time of night on my way home from work... wtf are people doing on that corner??
  25. spotted friggin WRX's... everywhere! don't know why, but I just seemed to be constantly surrounded by them today! spotted a black R32 going past Babar tonight a purple R33 at Drakeford/Athlon intersection, and was also behind a white R31 with 3 digit plates at the same intersection. oh and there's always a grey R31 with R31 Club sticker near my house but today there was a 2-tone 4-door R33 there as well (Kambah).
