Jago, yeah it has to be on pre-rego, have a look at the link.....if it was first registered before August 1994 you can have dark tint, as long as it's already on the vehicle.. any new tint put on has to be 35% VLT (visable light transmission) http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/dow.../vsi03_rev3.pdf

ok guys, just wanted to bump this up and see if there's any more interest from the Canberra crew.. Basically at this stage we're looking at leaving on Friday 16th at 5-ish (exact time TBA!!!) Staying overnight at Windsor (see Niks first post for link)...this place is cheap, around $100.. Cruise meeting point is just down the road - cruise departs at 10.30am. After some "fun" driving and lunch you can do what you want...go back home to Canberra or stay o'night in sydney. I'm going to book the Windsor place in the next couple of days....I can book for others as well, but you must be a definate!! If you're not sure you can do your own booking when you know if you're coming...but just a warning, there's not a huge choice of accommodation out there if this place is all booked up.. This cruise is heaps of fun and I think you should all come

I saw it.....did you hear some of the comments "this is like the fast & the furious man!" I think these guys maybe hadn't been on a lot of cruises before and were getting a bit over excited, leading to the stupid stuff that happened..9 years is a bit harsh in my opinion. They also said that the guy went and saw the parents of his best mate and they DID NOT want him jailed...but the judge ruled it anyway. i don't agree that locking someone up is always the best way to deal with things....how is 9 years surrounded by crims going to make him a better person when he gets out in his late 20's with no career prospects... like someone said, maybe 2 years and make him go around to schools and show other kids first hand how stupid behaviour can wreck your life and the people around you..
