  1. 2BNVS, it sounds dodgy to say the least good luck with the fair trading thing! and please don't post who the dealer is on here - if anyone asks just send them a PM
  2. and it wouldn't look as good either i think stock S14's look butt ugly (really done up ones can look awesome though).. just thought I'd throw the suggestion in anyway
  3. Amaru, one day I'll get off my lazy ass and actually come over and say hi to you & Tony :D hehe btw your savings plan sounds like it's coming along about as good as mine Spending is fun...saving sucks

  6. aw and here i was thinking u just wanted another forum to whore around in Ewen hehe jk well, heaps of ppl on here have got their cars from Prestige...they have a very good rep. Probably the best rep out of all the importers I'd say. Have heard a couple of ppl who weren't 100% happy but you get that i spose. Who knows the full story..they might have stuffed Prestige around and then whinged when things didn't go their way.. anyway, I'll most likely get my next car thru them I'm just waiting for prices of good R34 GTT's to come down a bit :D
  7. ummm he's selling the S15 cos he needs to buy a CHEAPER car ! I would go a Rex...or what about an S14?
  8. I saw that on PF....apparently it wasn't an actual accident just went and found the thread here's what someone posted: It was a demonstration put together by the department of transport in some eastern european country, can't remember which one. The staged the accident with all the local youths and learner drivers in attendance to show the dangers of speeding. After the accident was staged, they cleared up all the remaining debris and secured the wreck to the tree (using the ropes you can see in some of the photos) to serve as a constant reminder...
  9. Mick, you just missed the last meet up we had was a few weeks ago now (some pics are here if you want a looksy) we don't get together at any regular time - just whenever someone can be bothered organising something really
  10. thanks gtsex! hmm I didn't see you! must have been in my own lil world LOL hi Obseshn
  11. taken from their site: "In order to import the vehicle to the US legally it must be imported though Motorex,Inc. .The cost for us to legalize a car for you varies from $16,000 - $25,000 depending on the year of the vehicle. This does not include shipping , bonds ,tarriffs , custom brokerage fee , and associated shipping fees._ _The additional cost varies as the bond cost (450% of the value of the vehicle) , and tarriff cost(2.5% of the value of the vehicle) varies with the value of the vehicle , also shipping can be roll on/roll off or container. Expect the other costs to be $4000 - $5000 ."
  12. have u already spoken to Motorex? i think they charge a small fortune to do this!
  13. thanks James! I'll try my luck, not holding out much hope though there's prob some chick walking around with it around their neck by now...
  14. yes, there are more differences than the bodykit (see the FAQ section ) 24k seems a bit expensive for a 94 model...but as SKYLINED said it'll be more at a dealership. Have a look some private sales you might find a better deal
  15. As far I was aware the R33 GTS-4 are all non turbo (RB25DE) but I'm sure someone will come along and tell me that there was some special edition or something, of turbo models hehe
  16. hey fitzy check it out! http://www.cams.com.au/content.asp?PageID=...bjectID=1032590
  17. The Tool...i agree totally!! :uh-huh: the drive between Syd and Canberra (for example) is SOOO mindnumbingly boring sitting on 110km/h...and it's such a straight, safe road! Roads like that should definately have a higher limit. The only thing that keeps me awake is glancing at my speedo every 5 secs to make sure I'm not speeding too much lol as for 50km/h zones...yeah we have them here, but it's "unless posted otherwise"...and most main suburban streets seem to be posted 60 (from what I've seen anyway)! some places where it's 50 (for example i live in a Circuit and it would be 50) you wouldn't be able to hit 60 if you tried, probably wouldn't even get up to 50 either!
  18. weetbix, I make them up for the NSW club - you get one when you join the club i'm not doing them for the forum as i don't really have the time, but if you came along to a meet you could grab one off me.. otherwise, the WA guys have made some if you're interested...go to the Street Weapons site (their banner is on the front page of this site).
  19. if that's meant to say: "How honest should people in business be?", umm I'd say completely honest as for the rest of the post, NFI
  20. R33 GTSt was midway thru 1993, not sure of the exact month...and yeah the R33 GTR started in 1995 also for the 15 year rule it doesn't matter what month in 89 the car was produced...it can still be brought in next Jan, even if was a Sept 89 car (for example)
  21. StraightSix, you are right, but what people are doing is buying them now and storing them in Japan till Jan next year (when they become eligible). most importers are offering free storage...or you can pay a bit extra for covered storage.
  22. You have right of way. If there's 2 cars facing each other like that, the one who wants to turn has to give way to the ones who are coming straight through. That's the way it is down here anyway!!
  23. hahhaa I thought that was Loz!! i'll drink any of u guys under the table...well not counting pete
  24. that's what I was going to say!!...but aren't they around $37K ?
  25. hehe no Carlo is not a fuel engineer, but he does seem to know what he's talking about. Maybe that's why ppl are starting to say that optimax is making their cars run like crap - if it only takes that amount of time for the octane rating to drop it can't be good ?? but regardless...they still advertise optimax as a 98 rated fuel..even if it drops by the time we get it in our tanks
