yeah Ash, I dunno...i get a guy here to make them up, so i guess I can ask him. I actually got rid of the WWW before I put mine on...makes it a bit shorter, doesn't have to go over so much of a curve then. I didn't do it for that reason, i just wanted a smaller sticker and figured you don't really need the WWW to tell it's a website...
that's actually the first time I've seen the smaller ones on a car...they look pretty cool
Absolutely Bonkers, you are right, and this will be done next time. Being our first one, it kinda crept up on us (hence the late choice of a venue etc). As Dan said, we can learn from this and do it better next time!
I have all the members emails set up, and will be sending out a group one for all official events (not just AGM's) in the future.
Georgie, see ya tomorrow, hope you brought lotsa money for porn..errr I mean to pay for lunch
finally!!!
sorry i never got to take those pics for you polishstorm
we didn't get ourselves organised, anyway...doesn't matter now!
so what's the car on order?
Hahaaa it's TRUE!
I am hopeless at reading maps, I'll admit it!
Anyway, hope the meeting went well. Sorry I couldn't make it. I hope Dino explained what happened, but if not, I was basically stuck at Eastern Creek. I went to leave at 3.45pm so I'd have plenty of time...unfortunately everyone else was leaving at the same time and i sat in a line of traffic without moving (still in the carpark) for 45 mins before i gave up and re-parked the car. We finally got out of there after 5pm....
was very pissed off.
try another servo....I've had the same thing happen at certain servo's, takes bloody ages to fill up the car but at other servo's it's fine. So I just avoid the ones that keep clicking off now
hahaa very lucky Dragon18!
i don't really get this remote start thing...i mean, why does the car take off if you've only turned the engine on and no one's touching the accellerator?
am i missing something....
hmm, blame the blonde hair
Well, after seeing that huge crash of Mario Andretti's...I thought I'd look up when the Indianapolis 500 is actually on this year...
found out it's the 25th May, so I looked up the RPM site to find out what time Ch10 were broadcasting it...and it's not there!!????
now I know they don't show the IRL (the other rounds), but I'm sure they always used to show the Indy 500???
anyway, just a bit disappointed, that's all
/me joins Graeme
so so sad....I thought he would improve...and then this happens
"It was a very difficult decision for everyone, but in the end it is in the interests of Possum," said a close friend of the driver, Murray Brown.
"He hasn't been alone the whole time he's been in hospital and he certainly won't be now. We're all just numb. His chance of survival is virtually nil."
story here
I don't think there's any point in delaying the inevitable...
RIP Possum
My car was auction grade 4, and it was pretty accurate....the car was nice and clean and straight.
The steering wheel was worn (as they all are when the kms get up a bit)....umm I had to replace the muffler, and I also paid a few hundred to get the front bar and door resprayed due to a couple of marks. But that's all.
I'd always keep at least $500 aside when importing, just for little things
Quote from Brant site:
"We have fitting centres in Sydney, Newcastle, Central Coast, Wollongong, Canberra, Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Adelaide & Perth."
guess ya do
it's aqua ?? wow...never seen that before, I thought you meant red like all the others i've seen!
that sounds very cool....
will keep an eye out for you
if you get a pic of it at night, post it up so we can check it out!
haha! ...but we all knew what he meant, right??
gtssky, I've got a Brant AA02 alarm/immobiliser.
also got it so I'd have keyless entry!
it cost $595 fitted....although that was 2 years ago, might have gone up by now. That cost includes them coming out to fit it at your work/home.
have a look here: http://www.brant.com.au/html/show.htm
From what i remember, i believe it was a factory option...but you don't see many with it.
But I do know of a few people who have done it themselves to their cars...
see attached pic, MYGTST from Sydney set this up himself (yeh i know it's an R33 not R32, but meh..)
looks very cool, I love it!
welcome to the forum choochoobaa
pearman, my ex had a car insured by AON, mainly cos his dad was involved in the company...
but anyway...I don't know who they are underwrited by, but they split up the insurance bill via a number of different companies....and just looking at his last insurance bill I'm looking at right now, it has: CGU Insurance, Royal and Sun Alliance, Suncorp Metway, Allianz Australia...
so I think you are in good hands with AON
hey Franks, did you get free tickets to the Kings Ball?? huge piss up!
my boss is Mel Dalgleish...he went to the 1984 (I think?) Olympics for basketball...so unfortunately we get stuck with all this basketball stuff...don't really like it much personally
