    If you can do that, then I'd go for it! Having half your loan interest free would be a HUGE bonus! Your parents might have to go guarantor on the bank half also, if you have no proven savings record, or no credit rating...

    here ya go, Soulja...is this the one?? ...a lot of us here are on the same mailing list being at a supplier and not an auction, it doesn't have an grading, so get Prestige's buyer to give it a good look over for accident damage etc. The price is good though, and he's a reputable importer.

    Really? i didn't realise they sold that....well there ya go... i haven't gone near a woolies servo since i got the Skyline, I just assumed they didn't have any 98 stuff. I used to go there very occasionly in my old car and just use the normal ULP....but it was NOT a performance car lol

    My car came into Aust with 88,000kms and i got it done straight away. Just as a precaution. It only costs a few hundred bucks, i'd just go do it as soon as you can.

    Sig...I don't know if you have already decided on a brand/type of tyre, but Dunlop FM901's come very highly recommended by heaps of skyline owners...I'll be getting them soon... and it just so happens that Beaurepaires have 15% off all Dunlop, Goodyear & Olympic tyres atm...so that might be a good place to go 3 days only tho...ends Saturday....

I got followed by a cop car but i didn't think it could be one cos one of the front headlights were blown. i was gonna tell him when he pulled me over, but i didn't want to push my luck hehe.. Is a blown headlight an offence?

    it's funny when you go to *some* import yards... and EVERY car has between 30,000-50,000 kays on the clock I spose, clean them up and make them look all shiny and pretty, and some people will believe anything I went to a car yard in Brisbane, where they had an R33 with 13,000 kms on the clock :bahaha:

    nah silver, if i came i'd be flying back on Monday. well a guy from work is keen to come YAY!...so I'm gonna search around for cheapo accommodation (is there any such thing on GP weekend??) and flights and stuff. We are both poor, so it will all depend on costs... but you might see me there yet

    hehe Silver, I've seen plenty of indy cars go past while pissed....it's awesome Never seen an F1 car though, but I'm sure it's pretty much the same well i'd be going GA too since i can't afford much else....so IF i do manage to get there, I'll make sure i catch up with you guys for a trackside beer. Not looking promising though...
