Majanal, the main delay has been that on the track day we received about 9 membership forms, but we knew there were a number of people who couldn't make it on the day who were sending their forms via mail....so I was waiting to recieve these. I now have around 26 member forms and I will be making up stickers/cards this week... I'm sure most of you are aware of this cruise but just in case anyone has missed it, we are having a big cruise to Wollongong this Sunday. see thread in NSW section here we are meeting at Homebush 6C at midday. if you want to come straight from Canberra, 2rismo (Adrian) has arranged an alternative meeting spot, since parking will be hectic at the lighthouse: "Canberra people, meet @ North Beach NORTHERN carpark that breaks off to the left as you drive over the speed humps. If you can find your way to the Novotel North Beach, you'll be right. Just go north a bit more and park..." There are SO many car clubs cruising there on this day...it will be huge! Just make sure you are legal....I was there a few weeks ago and was told by a cop that my car was defectable...and we all know how standard my car is LOL

It's good to get opinions...someone might come up with something really nice that u didn't think of....but at the end of the day, something like rims is such a huge matter of personal taste. As long as you like them that's all that matters, well i think so anyway I'm not a huge fan of those type of chrome rims, but it all depends.... i think they look good on some show cars...not so good on a stock looking car....but that's just my opinion... i like them on this s14 (not the same rims but close-ish...) hehe this is prolly someone u know ?

My BF's car was stolen last night there are too many ppl out there without ANY sense of right or wrong. An unbelievable story, but i heard yesterday that someone here in Canberra was packing up his car to evacuate from the fires....and someone stole it. It was a Mazda 626, and probably only contained sentimental stuff that he wanted to take with him....and some low-life **** stole it from his driveway.

well, just on this point....yes they can send you the ticket and not write it "there and then"....I had it happen to me...reason being, he didn't have a ticket book with him. I recieved it the next day...had no stamp on the envelope either, so i think they "personally" delivered it to my letterbox seems strange that they didn't take any of your details though...did they look at your drivers licence at all? Maybe they just noted your rego and will get all your details from that? That's assuming they asked you if it was your car...

we're doing this cruise on australia day ie. SUNDAY right? not the Monday public holiday?
