nice pics Ryan! seems like there were some really nice cars there... the pics I've seen of other years there's been a lot of cars that aren't really my thing (too much over the top airbrushing etc). Most of those cars seem to be a bit more toned down, and damn sexy! Heaps of nice colours too..I love that sky blue S14 (OH2SXY) :love: not so keen on this car LOL :spew:

How much did THAT suck??? (not the race, the coverage )1 1/2 hrs...pffft...I was reminded by someone that this race was on, so i switched on the tv thinking awesome!! just getting into it and then it ends won't be able to watch the WHOLE TWO HOURS they're showing tomorrow, so i guess that's all I get to see Anyway, i hope you ppl who went had fun! As you would know, the under 50,000km cars usually sell for a premium price at the auctions....and you can really get more of a bargain if you are willing to be more flexible in this regard. Look more at the condition, rather than the kms. As for maintenance, i bought mine with 88,000kms on it and it now has 126,000kms and I haven't had anything go wrong - i've only had to pay for normal servicing costs. yes it had fairly high kays when i bought it...but it was a grade 4, stock standard car, which is more what I looked at, rather than the kms

hi brendan! great idea...but a bit short notice for you Sydney guys maybe?...it's next weekend we're doing this hmmm dunno, i think i'd prefer to keep it a more local thing this time, and then maybe organise another big-ass Canb/Sydney cruise down the track (like the Kangaroo Valley one we had) when we can give everyone plenty of notice...

I was thinking the same thing silverslyder, might be a bit far to do in a day.... well i'll have a look around in the next few days and see if i can find somewhere. We've already done the Bateman's Bay thing, Kangaroo Valley, and the cotter for a barbie, so I was thinking something different to those might be good this time. Although we've got a few ppl who weren't around then..so..we could do the same i guess... the Gong's pretty far too isn't it? Somewhere that's an hour & a half drive or so would be good... aargh I'm just rambling...keep the 24th free everyone...we will definately do SOMETHING...

hmmm not sure, i downloaded the Mac version which just gave me an installer file and a system extension and a few "read me" files....no player hehe come to the "other side" franks!!I've got iMac...you know the white one with the bendy arm and the flat LCD screen etc. It was $3K but i didn't get the DVD superdrive, just the standard burner. I love it! btw...hold down the "control" key and it gives you a drop down menu the same as your right click Everything u guys can do with 2 buttons, we can do with 1 :lol:

thanks guys yeah I already have divx installed, i got it a while ago when someone had captured something off the teli and I needed it to watch it, and the sound worked fine with that, and others I've downloaded since... I'm errrrr, on a Mac so there might be something going on there. RONIN I have windows media player for the mac but they don't open at all in that. I've been watching them in quicktime. never mind...they're still good to watch with no sound!!
