  1. hehehe...I thought it was funny
  2. John, the differences I know about when comparing turbo to NA R33's, are the GTS-t sticker on the back, the boost guage in the dash and the different stud pattern on the wheels... Doctor's probably right about the brakes, but i didn't know about that. There might be more differences?? that's all i know about anyway

I remember how excited i was too The worst bit was when it arrived here!!... it was late on a Friday night and the Finemores depot was closed all weekend so i couldn't pick it up till Monday!! Do you know how frustrating it was to lay eyes on it for the first time, but it was thru a FENCE....and it was right up the back so i couldn't even get a proper look???

  10. Just thought I'd post this up here (copied from performanceforums). Spread the word to any mates who might be interested in this too!!! Shell *********************** Hi all, this is a lift from the "Cackling Pipes" website. It was a post by Geoff Develin, the manager of the former Canberra International Dragway. *********************** Canberra protest is GO -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Arrangements for the protest rally in Canberra have been finalised with the Police and Governments departments. The V8 race in Canberra has been axed by the Government so this is our chance to show strength and get the allocated V8 funding diverted to a new Dragway facility. Tuesday 20 August. Vehicles assemble on Phillip Avenue which is an intersection with Northbourne Avenue (main road into Canberra from Sydney) near the Natex centre where the Summernats is held. Assembly time from 10.00am and depart at 11.30am for procession to the Legislative Assembly building (home of the politicians). The Legislative Assembly building is located on London Circuit in the centre of the City. Demonstraton will take place from 12.00 noon till 2.00pm so we need as many bodies in attendance as possible. Dedicated info line is 0407-225067. Please let everyone know that this is a happening thing and that Championship Drag Racing in Australia needs your support for this rally. We desperately need another track on the eastern seaboard. It worked in Sydney and it WILL work in Canberra. We need transporters, trailers, hot rods, street machines and any other vehicles to participate. Please also bring banners, flags, signs. Thankyou Geoff Develin **********************

  18. well i will say nothing since Ch10 just gave away the winner and there are ppl who don't want to know the result. Ch9 need to get there arse into gear and show ALL the races LIVE They are showing GOLF OVER LIVE F1....get your priorities in order Ch9 ...FFS... It's only quarter to 1am...and you're showing the race at 4.50am.....
  19. So that's what it looks like now? Why do you want to put a different body kit on? I think it looks pretty cool as it is!
  20. I was asked by someone what I usually rev to thru each gear and when I told him about 4 grand, he said "all you R33 owners are the same! Why do you rev so high?" When my car is cold I don't rev that high - i try not to use any boost at all...but during normal driving, i always rev to about 4 grand! soooo what do you guys usually rev to? ps i think I've used the word "rev" far too many times in this post
  21. haha well maybe it wasn't as bad as i thought then....dunno, i was pissed...my bf was driving my car...we'd been out for dinner and were on our way to Kingston for more drinking.... If anyone wants to find me on a Friday night, I'm usually beside an open fire at Filthy's at Green Square with a pint of Stella :D
  22. It will have a green compliance plate in the engine bay..which will tell you that it has been complianced and who by
  23. so this is a different noise to that loud screetchy noise they already make, george??
  24. I emailed a few places when i first got my R33 and the general response was "sorry we don't make car bras for your model" funkymonkey, I think the only way you'll be able to find one is to get one custom made which will probably cost big $$$
  25. Just as well you put the TM in there, Jim....unauthorised use of my name is $100 fine ok :uh-huh:
