  1. 600hp, how about twin HKS GT2835R's or twin Garrett GT3071R's, they should do the job pretty easily.
  2. hey funky, it all sounds good. send the pics thru when u can. btw, i'm in bundoora aswell. i could come over and have a look at it. sms me ur details to 0404 891953. cheers.
  3. thanks funky. what condition is it in other than the rust? where r u located?
  4. haven't used sard, although i've had experience with rochesters. they are a very good injector with 4 or 5 outlets and an easy fit.
  5. email sent.
  6. dude, i have a friend who is a qualified mechanical (automotive) engineer that can help you out. he is really good and only wants to do the job one way, and that's the right way. his name is Paul Bottomley and he is part owner of APS( Automotive Performance Solutions) over in Heidelberg, give him a call on 9455 3222. let him know that u know myself (goran - rs500), and he should help you out. cheers.
  7. gday guys, as the title says, i'm after a bare RB25 block in good condition with bore no greater than 86.5 mm if possible. if u have one, reply here or PM me, thanks. btw, i'm in melbourne.
  8. baboo, i can help u if ur interested in new DBA4000 rotors. where are you located? PM me.
  9. you will see this kind of behaviour if u have the standard intercooler. what happens is that after a few WOT (Wide Open Throttle) runs, the i/c absorbs a lot of the heat produced by the turbo, as to allow cooler air to be ingested into the engine. Although, this heat absorbed by the i/c greatly reduces the cooling efficiency and given that the standard i/c core is very small in size, dissipating this heat will take a while. so what u need to do after you go for a nice WOT run thru all the gears, is cruise the car (off boost) for 5-10mins as to allow the i/c to release the heat by the flow of ambient air thru the i/c and monitor your intake temps and knock (if u can) at all times. if you're not doing this, then your intake temps will be increasing quite a lot which would cause the knock that u see.
  10. doesn't the HKS cast manifold have a T3 flange?
  11. dude, do u still have this housing? if so, PM me.
  12. that's a pretty big turbo so with a very good tune, up to 300rwkw should be pretty easy. boost wise, 20psi everyday would be easy for that engine given that it would have rb26 crank, rods and forged pistons.
  13. dude, the TD06-25G is sold as part of the RB25DET kit as it is a larger turbo than the TD06-20G, which is suited to the larger RB25 (2.5L) engine. although, it is known that exhaust manifold stud patterns are the same b/w the RB20 & RB25 engines so buying a TD06-25G kit should do u fine, but not on the standard 2L RB20DET engine. It will be very laggy and UNresponsive. i actually toyed with this idea as i am purchasing an R32 GTS-T which had an RB24DET in it with the TD06-25G kit, although the engine was damaged and a standard RB20DET is going in there with a Garrett T3 turbo, until i can rebuild the engine again and before you ask, NO, i'm not really planning on selling the turbo kit at the moment.
  14. sheizen, that's awesome power. sorry dude, can't be bothered siffing thru 44 pages, what setup do u have again?
  15. if u want more, you'll need to push a bit more boost than 13psi. go on DO IT!!!
  16. that's pretty impressive jago. how responsive is it? when do u get full boost?
  17. this is the Garrett GT30 that runs the 52T T04S compressor wheel and no the genuine GT comp wheel. it will perform ok, but not as efficient as the proper GT30R.
  18. there's a guy on here by the name of GeoffGTR, i believe he has Hicas Lock bar's which u can purchase. just send him a PM or hopes that he sees this thread.
  19. do u require o-ring or hose fitting injectors?
  20. nismo_boy, maybe you should look at the sizing of the exhaust housing and step it down if it's anything bigger than a 10cm^2.
  21. i thnk the rb20det turbos should be good for mid range power/torque, and they're cheap aswell.
  22. i believe the TD05 range is way too small for a RB25DET. it's actually smaller than the factory r33 turbo. they are more suited to 1.8 - 2L engines for responsive setups. you'd want to go for something like a TD06-20G or even the TD06-25G which are rated b/w 450-500hp.
  23. to be honest, i am not sure what trim it is. what do u have?
  24. thanks for that. burwood hwy is a bit out of the way for me, so i'll have to try my luck in st albans.
  25. gday guys, as the title states, i am after an a/r .63 t3 exhaust housing with standard profile in good condition from a VG30, VL or R34 RB25 let me know if u have one u'd like to get rid of.
