  1. Thanks mate- redbook is actually part of the parent company that i work for and unfortunately this does not list all models of skylines accurately, thus the reason for further research being done.
  2. SSHatch- that link is perfect, combined with the link provided from jezza-gtR, i have exactly what i am looking for! legendary guys- credit to the forum for having such knowledgeable members!
  3. jezza-gTr: great link mate, has a heap of info that i can use. Thanks to everyone! But also lookin for a bit info (dont ask much do i?) on how the HR, BNCR, ER names are linked to the different models/series? any clues?
  4. Thanks bud- thats why i jumped on here to see if i can get the correct info. Any ideas with how the HR, ER, BNR, BCNR etc are all assigned to a particular model (example below)? GTS = HR<series> GTS25 = ER<series> GTS-4 = ENR<series> GTR = BNR<series> GTS-T = ECR<series>
  5. Hi All, I am a non-skyline owning new member doing some research on skylines for my company, and thought what better way to research this than getting the information from the enthusiasts themselves- you guys! I am trying to list all the different types of skylines, from 1989 to 2002 (r32-r34 series), and what i am finding it difficult to understand is how the naming conventions of BNR34, BCNR33, HR33 etc... are all assigned to a particular model. So far, a friend of mine have come up with the below, but am not 100% sure. So i am looking to you guys and gals for assistance. Are any of you able to provide more info on this? R32 Skyline - 1989 to 1994 ? = GXi Type-X 1.8 L CA18i I4, 91 hp (67 kW) ? = GTE Type-X 2.0 L RB20E I6, 125 hp (93 kW, 152 N m) ? = GTS Type-X, S, J 2.0 L RB20DE I6 155 hp (115 kW, 154 N m) ? = GTS-25 Type-X, S, XG 2.5 L RB25DE I6, 180 hp (208 kW, 231 N m) ? = GTS-t Type-M 2.0 L RB20DET turbo I6, 212 hp (158 kW, 263 N m) ? = GTS-4 2.0 L RB20DET turbo I6, 212 hp (158 kW, 263 N m) ? = GTS-4 2.6 L RB26DE I6, 225 hp (169 kW, Autech Version - auto only BNR32 = GT-R 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 280+ hp (186 kW, 368 N m) BNR32 = GT-R 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 280+ hp (186 kW, 368 N m) V-Spec BNR32 = GT-R 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 280+ hp (186 kW, 368 N m) V-Spec II BNR32 = GT-R 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 280+ hp (186 kW, 368 N m) NISMO R33 Skyline - 1993 to 1998 HR33 = GTS 2.0 L RB20E SOHC I6, 130 PS (96 kW, 172 N m) ER33 = GTS25 2.5 L RB25DE DOHC I6, 190 PS (140 kW, 231 N m) ENR33 = GTS-4 2.5 L RB25DE DOHC I6, 190 PS (140 kW, 231 N m) 4WD ECR33 = GTS25T 2.5 L RB25DET DOHC turbo I6, 250 PS (184 kW, 294 N m) BCNR33 = GT-R 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 280+ hp (186 kW, 368 N m) R34 Skyline - 1998 to 2002 ? = GT 2.0 L RB20DE NEO I6, 155 ps (114 kW) ? = 25 GT, GT-X, GT-V 2.5 L RB25DE NEO I6, 200 ps (147 kW) ? = GT-FOUR 2.5 L RB25DE NEO I6, 200 ps (147 kW) 4WD ? = GT-T 2.5 L RB25DET NEO turbo I6, 280 hp (206 kW, 343 N m) BNR34 = GT-R 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 332 PS (244 kW, 392 N m) BNR34 = GT-R V-Spec 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 332 PS (244 kW, 392 N m) BNR34 = GT-R V-Spec II 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 332 PS (244 kW, 392 N m) BNR34 = GT-R N1 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 332 PS (244 kW, 392 N m) BNR34 = GT-R M-Spec 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 332 PS (244 kW, 392 N m) BNR34 = GT-R V-Spec II Nür (only 750 made) 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 332 PS (244 kW, 392 N m) BNR34 = GT-R M-Spec Nür (only 250 made) 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 332 PS (244 kW, 392 N m) BNR34 = GT-R NISMO R-tune 2.6 L RB26DETT twin-turbo I6, 332 PS (244 kW, 392 N m) BNR34 = GT-R NISMO Z-tune 2.8 L (bored and stroked) RB26DETT Z2 twin-turbo I6, 500 PS (368 kW, 540 N m) Z1 and Z2 (Only 20 made) Looking at the above, we have come to the assumption that the skyline naming conventions follows a pattern, Example: GTS = HR<series> GTS25 = ER<series> GTS-4 = ENR<series> GTR = BNR<series> GTS-T = ECR<series> Is anyone able to please assist or point me in the right direction to get this info?!? Thanks in advance, Jed (aka ganaZ~)
