  1. im only after 200rwkw which should be fun for a daily driver . hopefully it is reliable to
  2. totally agree.. money does not by love or happyness it just makes things easier
  3. hell yeah.. i will still be able to out drink them at their 18th/21st il only be 50 or so...lol if you wait till you are ready will it ever happen???
  4. hope so.. it gets a respray when it gets here, and a nice set of mags that match, the turbo on it is ceramic but it will be a vg30 ball bearing type are they any good?.. i am considering selling the watanabies from it but only got two...
  5. not my twin....its only my name coz i got the plates.. it will change when i get my Gts-x .... not long away now how far in advance are the cruises organized.. we can supply $20 bucks worth of snags for it, should get a few kg's for that. tho we will bring a bottle of sauce for my misses... she loves the stuff lol
  6. hes not my twin..... my name on here is the plate on my four door 31.... and i dont condone ppl giving others a hard time either way..but i do agree he needs happy pills or at least take up smoking.. hahahaha and i have to agree with boof.... at 27 years old i can still say i am not financial enough for kids. but we have the support if we need it.. still is a mind blowing thing but. it changes every thing you do
  7. id be up for that. if i havent pissed every one off too badly yet lol
  8. now we are getting some where ten years ago you say?........well maybe we should try again? there is a lot of thing against the idea but there is alot of stuff for it as well. i am going to go to my local council member for advice about how to set up a hearing for a proposal and find out what needs to be put on the table for them to say yes to it... a few ppls support in it would be needed and then we can get the ball rolling thanks for your time to every one!
  9. i have been told to use s13 parts for this b4 as money is tight what parts do i need to fit the coil overs and would it be worth getting steering arms and the other parts fist or just do it all at once
  10. i am sorry ( again wrong subject to attack) i will watch the events happening and would like to be a part of things. i dont mean to offend any one, ( really should'nt type while i think this shit up hey lol) so no body take it as me giving any one a hard time, i didnt think about it much. but i understand it takes a lot of commitment from an organisation side and ppls finantial strains.
  11. OK OK OK. when i started thi topic i did so to get a better feel for ppls attitudes towards it... there is a lot of tempers flaring up about it and it tells me there is intrest but ppl today are either just complaining with no intention of doing any thing, or dont care... what ever happend to the doers out there.. in another thred i said im going to be a dad, part of the reoson behind this thread is that i want my kids to be safe on the streets, but to do yhis we need to be more like the other states and give the scene a bit of a shake up.. a few years back i did th ewrong thing on the street in my car, i got busted by the fuzz and lost my licence for a while, i was pissed off about it. the point im trying to make is , yes it has been tried befor and yes it failed. but if we keep trying we may end up like the other states and have a bit more of a choice where we go. as RUBY_RS4 put it we can do something it just has to be presented the right way.. im not blaming any one group for any thing and i dont want to argue about it with ppl i dont know but i am going to look for a way to set up ( or at least try) some thing that shows the general public that not all import drivers want to be idiots and that we dont think the streets arre like the games out there.. i will do some more reserch and get back to you all WATCH THIS SPACE
  12. thanks heaps... i cant wait till our little one arrives. its all very exciting
  13. its no wonder SA hasnt got a regular (more than once a moth) drift/drag track......we should be ashamed.... it seems like a few ppl are full of hot air, when something starts to get planned we all say " Ill get to it later" and then get upset that nothing happens............... that christmas party would have been a good idea by the sounds of it. maybe next time hey
  14. sorry i am a noob. i dont normaly go on these sites and talk to others online. give me a few more weeks and ill work it out
  15. ok point taken sorry bout the thread. i promise it wont be talked about by me again
  16. i got it 3 days ago and it is very similar to dub ed... whats with the two wheel driving in a car tho... its not right. great grafix but.
  17. R.I.P
  18. its a pitty all import owners are tarnished with the same brush. it sux a bit cause drifting is one of the fastest growing sports in australia ( the world for that matter) it would be nice if some of the local parliment members got on board for us.... they would get my vote
  19. how many ppl would be up for that. from what i understand most track days have limits on the amount of cars, and they book out really quick. if there were more days open would it minimise the dick heads on the streets .... i think it would, that may cause less police fines for all of us!!
  20. cheer for the welcome. and the only reason i posted this topic is to get a bit of thought from others about the subject. many ppl complain about anti hoon laws and police harassment but noone wants to stand up and say we need more than one place to go a month...... like i said just testing the waters. chose the wrong subject but......
  21. a stated at the start i am new to this whole import/performance thing, so please excuse my out look. and no i was'nt on here b4 with a differnt name.
  22. yeah ok....got a bit of intrest though
  23. i still think it can be done. there is intrest in the subject, and thats how it starts, all you need are people to stand up and do it together
  24. if the councils in most areas can supply a skate park made of concrete for young people to go break there legs at, and have "TAGS" all over then why should it be different for drifting.. we all know the risk when you get behind the wheel to drive and if you are doing it willingly and somthing goes wrong you take the blame. pt gawler has disclaimer forms for everyone to sign saying you won't sue them if you get hurt on the go kart track, whether you are driving or not.. you have chosen to be around it and understand the risk
