  1. I know that the rear R33 calipers are a bolt on job as I have R33 N/A calipers on the rear of my R32 GTS and they have different brake pads
  2. im currently in talks with a wrecker in brisbane about this ... I have a r32 gts and I am wanting to put 4 piston GTS-T calipers onto my stock GTS 4 stud hubs and discs as I want to keep my 4 stud wheels ... I am in talks with the wrecker to see if they will fit or not
  3. Which badge do u want a photo of ? the word " NISSAN " or the " GTR " badge ? if ya want one of the Nissan badge on the LHS of the boot I can take a photo of mine for ya if needed ...
  4. Selling a few left over peices from my gearbox conversion in my R32 ... I went from a RB20 R32 auto box to a R33 GTS25-T series 2 auto box which had some valvebody work done on it as I didn't use a few parts in my conversion they are now up for sale * R33 series 2 GTS25T - Tailshaft - $100 * R32/R33 Metal trans cooler lines for your auto transmission - $30 Contact me in this thread or by PM and I will get back to you ASAP
  5. as for any difference between turbo and non turbo they all bolt up without any dramas R32 and R33 boxes can be used
  6. Depends weather or not you are doing the labor yourself ... Parts aren't all that expensive for R32's ya just gotta know where to source ya parts from ... Im building up an R32 GTS auto atm ... Just replaced the R32 auto gearbox with a replacement auto gearbox out of an R33 GTS-T series 2 The gearboxes are exactly the same the only difference between the boxes is you will have to use your R32 speedo in the R33 gearbox as the R33 uses a Digital speedo unit ...
  7. There is nothing wrong with an auto gearbox ... Flat shifting gearchanges with auto means you dont have to come off the throttle ... which means they are actually faster than manuals .... Do a stage 2 shift kit or go stage 3 with manualised valvebody upgrade and you will leive manuals for dead with much more positive shifts ... if ya want to launch the auto off the mark get a highstall torque converter so u can stall it up then release the brake and away ya go And with all that being said I still love my manuals and have 3 manual cars and have to say the auto is a hell of alot nicer to drive on the highways and is quicker in the midrange to highend but since im not using a highstall converter it tends to retain its normal crappy takeoffs ... I am a mechanic in the trade and I just swapped out my Dead R32 - RB20 auto box for a replacement RB25DET auto box from a series 2 R33 GTS-T that had a valvebody stage 2 shift kit put through it and it is way better to drive that the stock box...

  14. Depends what brake fluid you use I guess ... We use and reccommend QFM brake pads at work ... All the canberra Taxi's use them that we work on at work and for a road car that gets used daily they normally last around 60,000km in taxi's ... QFM also come in different compounds and heat ranges so you can get the best pad for your conditions I highly reccomend them
