Also the one with the person on the phone getting hit by a speeding car hits close to home for me aswell ... had one of my friends sisters when I was in high school was walking infront of us home and she half walked out onto the road then turned to say something and the car went to go around her but clipped her leg and dragged her for 20 meters up the road underneath the car ... it leives you in total shock ... especially when your mates sister is like 7 years old getting dragged under a car breaking her nose , her wrist and snapping her left leg bone in half and having it stick out

f**k that video hits close to home ... when I was younger my uncle was dating this woman and they went out to a club together one night and my uncle decided he was too tired to stay out and went home after working a huge day shift ... and the woman he was dating stayed out clubbing ... she ended up hopping into a car with some young blokes who were drinking and speeding ... and they had a major car accident where my uncles missus was in the middle at the back seat and was thrown out through the front windscreen headfirst into a light pole and died .... I also had a very close mate of mine comit suicide earlier this year , he was involved in a street racing incident that ended in a major car accident that killed a couple of people and the guilt got to him in the end and he took his own life .... 10 seconds of fun can f**k up your entire life I think the message really hits home when your standing above your mates coffin laying him into the ground , it is the worst feeling in the world ...

R32 Tierod Ends Before This Saterday
hr32gts replied to hr32gts's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Cool ... All sorted Ended up getting a pair I got one from Pedders in Woden and got the other one from Revell steering and suspention in Fyshwick So hard to track down cos nobody really keeps them in stock ... Have to get a wheel alignment in the morning I did one by eye but it still pulls to the left slightly , the old tierod ends were shagged and starting to seize up and were very notchy and also I have too much excessive toe out on the front wheels which really sucks when driving lately as the car tends to understeer badly and allmost caused me to hit a gutter this morning which was a very close call ... took the roundabout normally as I would and the thing just kept understeering not good having excessive toe out in this kind of weather , can be very very dangerous -

The whole Conversion doesn't cost bugger all if you know what you are doing R12 to R134a adapters from Ashdowns in fyshwick cost you around $20-30 or cheaper and a New receiver dryer unit costs around $60 or less I think they are alot less but I cant remember ... Just have to get someone to decant the old R12 gas out for you ... Then I wouldn't go with R134a at all I would go the the even newer gas ... Hychill which is pretty much an LPG style Hydrocarbon refrigerant and you dont have to modify anything to convert to this gas it is cheaper to regass and the air inside the car gets alot cooler and the compressor is 30% more efficient doesnt have to work as hard ... And you can release it to the atmosphere and you then dont need an Aircon liscence to regass you own system ...

Hmmm ... what to do outside of work ... Im usually playing games on the PC Fallout 3 (friggin awesome) NFS - Undercover , prostreet , Most wanted , carbon etc... Crysis Warhead (maximum graphics f**kin rocks) F.E.A.R - allthough I dont play that anymore was a good game MotoGP 07 . Superbike 08 at the moment the 3 games I play are fallout3 , NFS undercover and Crysis Warhead except in crysis I keep getting to this one point in the game and the game randomly crashes its bloody annoying so I dont play that game much anymore ... Apart from all that ... I fix and work on my cars ... I am also the ACT events manager for the Fordlaser.com car club of Australia/NZ So apart from owning the Skyline I own 3 lasers 1981 Ford KA laser 2 door ( now fuel injected turbo project car (very quick little car) 1989 Ford KE TX3 1.6i red with the complete lasermods bodykit 1988 Ford KE TX3 spare parts car Also own a Honda VF1000F Motorbike which bloody haulls arse but im not aloud to ride it on the road for the first 12 months of my motorbike P's 1000cc V4 engine = all torque in any gear 0-160 in 6 to 7 seconds is quite fun Also like going and taking photos of the cars at random locations around canberra ... (need to get myself a better camera though...) Also like collecting model cars Have a Drift 180sx , R34 GTR , S15 , 350z , Ferrari F50 , Ferrari 348TS , and also michael shumachers F1 car ^^ Looks above I gotta stop ranting on -

Was pretty crazy there was a few hundred cars that rocked up dunno if anyone got an official number of cars but there was a line up of cars miles long
