  1. Hey Eugene , With the GTS-T calipers did you use GTS-T rotors and have them redrilled and did these rims clear the calipers without needing any spacers ... Cheers mate
  2. Finding 4x114.3 rims isn't all that hard ... Finding 4x114.3 pattern wheels to clear turbo brakes on the other hand is pretty hard ... im doing the turbo brake upgrade on my R32 using the R33 gts-t calipers and rotors redrilled to 4x114.3 but ya need some huge offset wheels in order to clear the big calipers or ya need like 25-30mm spacers to fit them
  3. Just a quick business plug for the workshop that I work at in Fyshwick Rusden Motors 22 Lyell st Fyshwick ACT PH : 62806263 We work on pretty much anything and everything from Falcons to Aston martins and pretty much everything in between I can also do backyard jobs for people as well I am a 3rd yr qualified mechanic Just PM me for details and availability
  4. LOL bring on a skidpan day on tricycles ROFL
  5. try running it on 98 and advance the timing a few degrees and c how u go might get an improvement
  6. Damn dude ... is the car ok ... kinda makes me a bit worried about parking my car at gunghalin now ... I park there regularly too ... if I see these people in the act they better watch themselves
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjNzcjFgV6s&feature=fvst Ahahaha this is awesome
  8. I have everything pretty much sorted except for the wheel spacers R33 calipers R33 slotted rotors All bolt up fine but need to space the wheel out to clear calipers or get wheels with a good offset which I don't currently have Eiji if I can borrow 2 to test that would be cool ... The reason being Is I wanna see if the hub studs will hit on the inside of the rim when bolted up using the 20mm spacers or if I should go with wider spacers like 30mm all round Bolt on Spacers seem a lot cheaper than buying a new set of wheels for doing a simple brake upgrade
  9. How did it go today I Assume the wet weather may have made it a bit better ? I totally forgot about this today otherwise I would have come out for a look
  10. Also does anyone have a pair of 4x114.3 bolt on spacers so that I can trial fit my brakes with them to check for offset and guard clearance
  11. At present I am doing a bit of a brake upgrade on my R32 GTS The plan is as follows R33 GTS-T calipers R33 GTS-T slotted rotors (redrilled to 4x114.3 PCD ) I Can get the above to all bolt up and sit good ... (bend the backing plate away from rotor and they spin fine without noise or scraping) Only issue I have is my wheels wont clear the calipers as they are bloody huge and hit on the inside of the wheel spokes .. I have some 6mm slip on spacers and when using 2 so thats 12mm they alow clearance for the calipers but the wheel studs are not long enough to then bolt the wheel on ... I was thinking about getting some Billet bolt on spacers from Justjap around 15mm spacers should be all that I need to clear the brakes ... What are peoples opinions of using these spacers ... I gather the Bolt on style hub spacers are safer to use than the generic crappy slip on style ones Alot of people have told me to just upgrade to 5 stud but I allready have 2 sets of 17" wheels in 4x114.3 pattern and I dont want to change my wheels just yet...
  12. Pedders use White line components just painted red and badged as there own ... I have Pedders sports rider suspension with pedders lowered springs in my R32 I also have a full nolathane bush kit throughout the car Have a Pedders larger rear sway bar upgrade aswell I can vouch for there suspension this isn't the first one of my cars which has there gear either they are pretty damn stiff depends on the spring rate of springs that you buy aswell... White line regularly test out there suspension products at Wakefield park and have good R&D and they are Australian made As for there service in store I am also with you guys that they are not the best bunch to deal with and tend to rip you a new one when ever you get things done ... Good thing being in the trade is trade discounts and only buy parts from them don't get them to do your work ... As for alignments in Canberra there are only 2 shops that I recommend Inline suspension in Queanbeyan and Capital steering and suspension in fyshwick
  13. I'd love these for my R32 but I don't have $2g to spend on rims without good tyres

  17. Hi jack ... Simple exhaust setup for your car is as follows Coby D12 extractors from www.partsco.com (they are in NZ but they ship to aus ) I just payed $306 delivered to my workshop for a set of mandrel bent extractors 6 into 2 into 1 with 2.5" outlet Get a 2.5" highflow cat Then get a 2.5" catback turbo style off the shelf system Thats probbably the cheapest way to go DKNE extractors go for $480 in Aus so I found it cheaper to get the COBY ones from NZ delivered to me for $306
  18. PM me the location ... A big skyline meet sounds the goods ... hopefully by then my car will have a couple extra bits New Seats (have 1 installed so far) , Coby Mandrel bent extractors , bigger R33 GTS-T brakes modified for 4 stud GTS pattern ...

How many numbers do we have confirmed so far ... Im in talks with Craig Saunders Director Partsco.com Ltd If we can get 10 or more people confirmed as definite we will get a good discount from COBY ... Craig has informed me that it is more financially viable to go in the group buy than it is to proceed with my 1 off order , so I may get refunded from my current order and proceed with the group buy ... but it depends on how many confirmed orders we have so far as to weather or not I cancel my current order and proceed with the group buy ... I currently have payed $306.25AU delivered to my door If we can get 10 or more confirmed this number will be a lot less ...

  22. This is the factory Turbo from a Nissan 03 ZD30 STR Turbo diesel 60,000km on the turbo and it is in perfect condition (taken off a 60,000km engine that snapped a timing chain and bent valves ) so the complete engine assembly including turbo was replaced hence why I have the turbo for sale ... Comes with catalytic converter still attached to the turbo All ports are blocked off and are free from any contaminants This turbo has variable veins so as to provide a smaller A/R number down low rpm (next to no LAG ) and a higher A/R number at higher RPM Turbo is capable of over 30 psi But put on a custom manifold with an external gate and BOV , I would assume this turbo would have next to no lag and provide very usable boost throughout the whole rev range Selling for $900 or nearest offer Nissan sell these for $1650 retail without the catalytic converter would be good for someone chasing around 15-20psi who doesn't like turbo lag
  23. Suck about the rear window ... I did the same thing on my R32 not that long ago ... except I was taking the rear wing off and the little stud got caught in the boot and i pulled a couple times hard and then the missus came out of the garage to say something to me and as she did I lost concentration of what I was doing and the spoiler came free all of a sudden straight into the rear window and SMASH !!! $600 later and have a window installed
  24. good to hear ... As for the QFM AMR1 pads ... I just checked with my boss and we should be able to get them in ... but they will be a special order so will need to know sizes in advance
