I have been running a switch on my r33 chuki for about 4 years or so with no problem , I run the switch through the 4wd fuse in the boot fuse box, just take the fuse out take it apart and replace the 2 standard spades inside for your own with wires attached ,stick an inline fuse in of the same rating and run the 2 wires to the centre consul and fit a switch,,if your in 4wd you can switch on the go ,takes a minute or so for the line pressure to drop then the 4wd light comes on and your in 2wd. You still have to turn the ignition off and on to reactivate the 4wd. I'm running a full 5 gear OSG cluster with strengthed input and excedy twin plate.
