  1. Hey, that is definitely one of the worst stories ive heard of in a while, the number of forum members involved with motorsport and with aspirations of motorsport (myself included) will certainally be able to feel your pain (so to speak). As for the case of the stagea,if it IS unsuitable than the m35 is the way to go,but i imagine their is a heap of memories in your car and that certainly changes things. After that rant i guess my two cents would be if you decide to sell it take a bunch of awesome photos so u always have them, and there are definitely plenty of grassroots motorsport jobs that dont actually involve racing like volunteering for deca etc (i say that mind u i havent done it yet ). Good Luck with whatever decision you make.
  2. definetely in
  3. ill definitely be heading down hopefully ill be able to fix up the niggles and get it all detailed before then.
  4. im still glad i got WGN-C34, otherwise it would've had to have been STAGEA but that was long gone.
  5. Try United Fasteners on Centre Road,in Springvale they have always helped me out and have just about any screw and nut you can think of.
  6. Automotive Sunroof and Multimedia Fitter
  7. I was hiding in the back carpark,so kudos to your mate for spotting me hiding in there, and the food was pretty good for sure
  8. Spotted RBPOWA at the Pavilion in Dandy tonight i was parked in the back carpark,i think i saw u inside as i was leaving.
  9. also definitely interested if it can fit to a NEO RB25, with/without modifications
  10. That looks absolutely fantastic,i think it was well worth the effort and time you have obviously put in, good work
  11. Prestige sunroofs in Burwood may be able to help you,i work there and even though we install aftermarket roofs we might be able to think of something or point you in the right direction, the number is 9808 8966.
  12. these are 18x7.5 +38 rays sebring itc x on my stagea they are way too narrow, hopefully they look better black but i will moving up to 17x9 asap
  13. i wanted to say that this was me but i cant remember lol, i have seen you round once or twice though. Did you happen to get your car from SSV, they had a black one a while back i went to have a look at to suss out piping for my FMIC. its a terrific looking car mate
  14. What a great cruise, it was great to finally meet some members and put faces to forum names. Thanks to wayne for organising such a great route, ill be hanging out for the next one now lol
  15. Ive had my HDi boost controller set up now for approx 4 months not one problem, and the tuning is easy i would definitely recommend it as a cheaper alternative to the name brand boost controllers
  16. had 6x9's in my r33 just had to remove the child restraints and i bought a couple of 6x9 mounts from autobarn it was a tight fit,and u have to make sure the connection is well insulated otherwise it will touch the parcel shelf
  17. spotted a white M35 on the monash freeway near the heatherton road exit around 10pm saturday,it looked absolutely mint
  18. Spotted an immaculate bayside blue s2 sunday arvo near warrigal and riversdale rd, first time i have seen one in bayside blue and it is definitely a good look
  19. We have the same problem lol, although mine is more random than yours with both mirrors working and not working as they please. From the limited research ive done, one problem it can be is the connection to the switch on the door, apparently taking the plug out and cleaning it(electrical contact cleaner i assume) and making sure it is in REALLY tight can help, otherwise you could tear the mirrors apart and check that the motors etc are all in good condition. I would try the connection first and if it comes to buying a new mirror you may as well pull it apart anyway I will give the connection problem a go and post up my results asap hope that gives u some kind of help
  20. Hey ,i went custom on mine, place on blackburn road "waverley exhausts" ,3" mild piping, with a high flow resonator, cat and muffler in stainless its not too loud but has a good note when i put my foot down
  21. 1) from the research ive done on the m35,an aftermarket piggy back computer (usual suspects like haltech etc may have something, havent looked into it that much) with boost control would probably be the best method (bear in mind the jacks would consider it "illegal" unless u can get one that can be locked after a tune and still meets emissions),this way the stock ecu can be used for idle ,shift logic in auto's etc. this way u can even up the afr and add some boost safely and u have the flexibility too add more mods in the future. * My personal preference would be the Haltech Interceptor because it is a piggyback ecu ,has good customer support and a reasonable price mind u it doesnt have the functions of the more extreme ecu's.i dont know the models it supports though (damn adobe) 2) aftermarket boost control, there are about a billion types and everyone prefers one or another * In my series 2 C34 Stagea i have the HDI SBC Type-D with boost gauge after a dyno run too check AFR's and dial in the two settings it has been perfect,i also installed it my self with little difficulty also at $370 odd bucks it is prcied well just my 2 cents hope it helped a bit
