  1. Im pretty keen mate..... tried contancting you many times... Let me know asap please!!!
  2. Its not too bad, pretty responsive and doesnt chew the fuel (450-500kms per tank depending on the weight of my foot), It made 205.6rwkw but my knock level was around 50-60. So I think he played with it a bit, the final result was 201.4rwkw and max knock was around 35-40. Ive had it tuned previously at a reputable workshop (wont mention names), and it made 185rwkw with knock at about 50-60 so it was then retuned at my current tuner (BPS in Brisbane). I havent been in any other skylines with pfc so i wouldnt be able to compare. Id be happy with 250rwkw, just so it stays reliable because after all it is my daily driver too.
  3. Yeah tell me about it. I had my stock ones cleaned a while back and took them out and put them back in. NEVER again!!! Ill just pay my tuner to do it. Itll take him half the time most probably!! Ok great so high flow turbo here we come. Who is generally the best to do high flows?? Any in Brisbane??
  4. Hey guys, Im chasing a lip wing or drift style wing for my r33. Its the one that sits flush with the rear panels. If anyone has one they would like to part with for a fair price, ill gladly take it! PM me on here, Im in Brisbane. Thanks Gavin
  5. Ok so I may have to just bite the bullet and stop being a tight ass!! lol. The highflow idea sounds good, I already have some 550cc injectors here in my garage that i picked up a couple of months ago, and the 230 to 240rwkws is probably where i want to get to next.
  6. Hey Guys, I have a Series one r33. My current mods are Power FC, FMIC, turbo back exhaust, splitfire coilpacks, Walbro 550hp fuel pump, Boost controller, z32 afm, pretty much all the basics. It makes just over 200rwkw in its current state at 14psi. Just wondering what would be my most effective next modification?? I didnt want to spend thousands on turbo upgrades just yet, definetly down the track, I was thinking more along the lines of a cam package? Im not too familiar with what sort of cams will be right for my application. Just wondering about your thoughts and experiences with what works etc.?? Details and brands would be much help. Any help and input is appriciated Thanks
  7. Hey Guys, I have a series 1 r33 with power fc with z32 afm, fmic, exhaust, splitfires, 14 psi etc. It has been tuned obviously and makes 205 rwkw. Im just wondering what sort of heat range and plugs i should use because im doing a service soon. It currently runs NGK Platinum Plugs with 0.8 gap. Just wanted to know your reccomendations and experiences. Thanks and any advice is welcome!
  8. 1993 r33 series 1 Power FC with Z32 AFM 3.5 Inch Turbo back Exhaust Blitz FMIC Walbro 550hp Fuel Pump Splitfire Coilpacks Platinum Plugs BP Ultimate 205.3 rwkw at 12psi tuned by BPS in Cleveland. Very highly recommmended.
  9. I had the same problem in my series 1 r33. I tried everything you could possibly think of that could contribute to the problem with no success. So i purchased Power FC with Handcontroller and got that tuned and my car runs like a dream now. Thats how I fixed it, mine was r&r, but could be different for yourself, but the symtoms sound pretty much identical to what i had. Retune will definately fix it up for you.
  10. Problem sorted. Before my Power FC was installed, I had an SAFC which you have to splice into some wires in the ecu loom to install it. Some of the connectors were loosening and wires were just showing and touching sometimes when i would turn right or go over bumps. Re-connected the wires with new joiners and problem solved! Thanks for the help guys!
  11. OK thanks, ill have a check of that tomorrow aswell.
  12. Im going over all the electrical connections tomorrow, will post up my results. Thanks for the help so far guys, much appriciated. Keep the ideas coming!!!
  13. Hey guys, I have a r33 gtst rb25det. My car idles and drives under load fine. However at low revs when the car goes around a corner or bumpy surface - eg a pot hole or bumpy intersection etc, the car hesitates for a second and then starts pulling. Basically it doesn't accelerate smoothly after going over a bump etc but rather hesitates for a sec then hits all of a sudden - sort of a jerky transition if it makes sense. However once it has done it it continues to drive fine. only does it when the road surface bumps the car or when I turn. Any idea's on what it could be? So far ive figured something must be getting bumped or knocked causing this hesitation / jerk, it usually occurs round the 2-3000 rpm mark. Car spools up fine but sometimes hesitates (corner or bump) - only for a second or so though. Any help is much appriciated!
  14. Hey mate how much including postage to 4164 (brisbane southside)??
  15. any chance you have the handbrake cover (the vinyl thing thats the same material as te gear boot)?? Mine is torn and im chasing one. How much?? Where r u located?? PM Me.
  16. I had the same problem in my 33. My ecu was richening a/f mixtures and retarding timing. Power FC and a good tune fixed me up, but if i were you id get it on the dyno and get the problem diagnosed that way. Itll save you a lot of money in the long run.
  17. R33 Series 1, RB25det manual, Power FC, FMIC, Full Exhaust System from turbo back with high flow cat, Walbro 550hp Fuel Pump, K&N Filter, Splitfire Coilpacks, NGK Platinum Plugs(0.8). Made 256rwhp on a safe tune on 98RON BP Pump Fuel. Recently Purchased T04e/T3 Highflowed Turbo, Nismo 550cc injectors, Stainless Low Mount Manifold. Hoping for the 340-380rwhp, depending on safety on engine internals and gearbox.
  18. I removed the resinator on my exhaust so it is now 3 1/2 inch from turbo through to high flow cat to x-force cannon with 5 inch tip. Mine sounded noticably louder when i had the resinator taken out, mine didnt have any drone, sounds deeper and great. But like stokesy said above, there are very minimal gains, it just makes ur exhaust louder. It does sound good though!!!
  19. Me too. Ill adjust mine and post up how i go. Let me know how you go too. I just tried the charcoal canister blocking off, no change.
  20. Holy crap my problem is exactly the same as this, i can hear the vct solenoid clicking on and off, and the idle hunts around. Just had pfc put in about a month ago. Been searching for vacuum leaks (none) cleaned and adjusted my aac valve, adjusted tps (but by adjusted i just went straight to .35v, didnt try it on different voltages) and it still hunts around!! Please keep updating this thread (i will too), we should work together to solve this shit of a problem!!!
  21. I have the same problem. On my fc hand controller it says that my vct sensor is turning on and off. Its located on the right of injector number 1, and looks like a goldy coloured hexagonal tube thing with a plug in it. That is the clicking that i can hear in mine. It also makes my idle hunt terribly on start up, but then goes away after it gets warm?? Let me know how u go, or if i find a solution ill let u know!!
  22. I had the exact same problem in my 33. The car feels like it bogs down in that rpm range (feels like going through wet sand or something), so i purcahsed power fc, got it tuned and it now runs great, pulls hard all the way to redline!!! Your pretty lucky that it was plugs, it wouldve saved me a lot of money if it was the problem with mine!!
  23. Hey Guys, I have a series 1 r33 gtst. Just recently had power fc installed and tuned, car is great to drive just lately been having an issue with idle hunting. Ive cleaned out my aac valve, adjusted tps and idle screw and still hunts. On the hand contoller when i do a sensor check it shows the vct turning on and off (clicking sound) at idle, when it turns off the revs drop and when it turns on the revs go up. Is this sensor faulty or is there anything i can do to stop it from turning on and off?? Any help is appriciated!! Thanks Gavin
