  1. So my mechanic took out my RB26 but he end up damaging the seal of the cv shaft. Well, we thought it was the seal and O-ring but after looking at Fast and then calling around, nobody could tell me the parts number of this seal and o-ring and one told me that it didn't exist. So, I speak with my mechanic and then he came to the conclusion that it might be under the differential's part listing. I guess, I'm not the first this happen. Could you please help me quick. Motor should be put back next week and I need to order these 2 items before! Here's a picture: thanks!

  3. Flow 50% more? how comes? I mean the difference is like 2-3 more mm.
  4. Anyone ever been able to reproduce the claims tomei make about these manifold on a rb26 ? I read about it and can't find much info beside marketing BS. no true testimonial. Also, My machnist looked at both and the difference is very slim.. to a point where you can ask yourself if it's worth it! Thanks, Alex
  5. I'm also running 3 amps. I also did the big 3 with o gauges. I still think it's way too much for a 20yr old alt that pull 80amp!
  6. I tried to do a search but I was going throught 2008 thread and still haven't see anything to answer my question. I can't believe it. Am I the only one who thought about upgrading his alternator ?? I think the easiest way would be a infinity J30 alternator that do 140 amp for dirt cheap but would they fit? I also heard that higher output alt. takes some HP away? Basicly, please help me out if you know something about upgrading the alternator.
  7. Just wondering, on a 500whp rb26, would a 35hp shot feel enought ''powerful'' or I better go for 55hp?
  8. Should I just bring one brembo caliper to my hardware store and see which bolt fit in?

  10. It's for my OEM bored 86mm RB26, I heard stock is 1.1mm I have the choice to either go 0.76mm or 1.3mm. What's the benefit ? Thanks for the help, Tomei website didn,t really help me on this one.

  12. I was told... that if you get a catch-can the head baffle is not necessary.
  13. Ok so I guess i'm fine. I still have my SS hose mounted on my BNR32 ( but I sold the oem sumito caliper to replace for brembo r33) so I know they work, I just can't confirm if the male screw in the female brembo caliper. Or The guy that I bought the caliper had it mounted on a 240sx and I know it screw in the caliper perfect, I just hope the end fit if my first kit doesn't haha! or else, I will have to call a towing

  16. nice deduction! I never thought about that.. I know, for a fact, the front hose does fit.. but i never found a def. answer for the rear hose. I have a set of BNR32 hose and a set that came with my brembo caliper but they were fitted on a 240sx chassis. I don't know if it matters.
  17. I mean it's only 200$ but if it's not needed, no point to get it. Is it just like an internet hype that GTR need baffle or it's real ? I already have tomei oil restrictor,n1 pump, crank collar and ati damper regarding the oil issue on RB26.
  18. Guys, My car is 200 kms away from where I am. I bought R33 brembo caliper and new rotor and new pads and new fluid. However, I still have my BNR32 Stainless steel hooked on my car. I need to know right now if my actual brake line will works/ bolt-on to the R33 brembo caliper because once I will be at my place installing my brakes, coming back on a towing because my BNR32 brake line didn't fit and I couldn't brake, is not an option. Quick answer, thanks a lot!!!

  21. Thanks for the info!! My kit is a ZEX RACE kit. I'm thinking 55 HP at the moment. I thought about changing turbos while I refresh my motor but I simply love how quick the GT-SS perform. I prefer a quick setup over a laggy setup that I have to use NOS to spool the turbo quicker. That way, I will only use NOS at the drag or on the highway, just to have a bit more fun with a friend, I guess.. I won't use it everyday. but if I get a bigger turbo, I would be using the nitrous everyday and I don't want this. The kit also came with a purge kit or some kind of it.. Should I install it or sell it back? What's the goal of this beside acting like Paul Walker in his R34 in FF2 lol ?? I also want to buy a RPM switch so I can set it at 5k rpm up to my rev limiter ( 7.5k), Should I set it lower? Last question but an important one, My tuner said IT'S VERY IMPORTANT to keep an eye on the pressure of the bottle, if too low, I won't make power, if too high I might seriously blow my engine. So... I started looking for remote gauge but I couldn't find any sensor!! just the gauge. My kit came with a mechanical gauge, is it possible to modify that gauge in order to have an electric gauge? Thanks a lot!

  23. so if you get a normal 15mm catch can your good ? but if your catch-can is 10mm then you need the dash 10 right?
  24. Is it mandatory to have this part? I would remove it in order to fit my catchcan here..
  25. Nevermind.. the main bolt doesn't fit with an AWD pan. only RWD.
