  1. Hey guys, Is there a difference between the extremeTSC and the Skylab TSC gtr.uk ? Is it worth putting 250$ more for other tsc?
  2. Can anyone tell me what is this thing? it doesn't look like a 2 piece that can be detachable. http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?p...=268&page=1 If it's as good as the D1 quick release but with an added protection for theft. I think it's the best deal for the function and security compared to the expensive works bell.
  3. Do you need to change the oem r32 manifold when upgrading to GT-SS?
  4. Anyone have experience with HKB SPORTS quick release?? D1 spec seems good but they are 2.5 inch tall while the HKB SPORTS are 1 inch tall.
  5. I was talking about derk's nismo rr581 on sale in the market place for 1600.. Anyways, Thanks, I will go with -5 then.
  6. thanks! So, I guess I'M better with -5 ball bearing then.
  7. ball bearing is better and easier to rebuilt than journal 360 bearing right?
  8. Hey guys, I've searched a lot but couldn't find the answer to my question.. I can get the RR581 for cheaper than a set of garrett -7. So I was wondering if those Lemans turbo are responsive like the -7 or more laggy like the -5. So, when does the boost come on on the RR581 ? I have a stock internal R32 with R34 dump pipe and divided twin turbo charge pipe (help spool a tad quicker..). Thanks!!
  9. Love the infos, A bunch of friends told me I should get a flywheel for my GTR R32 and after reading thoses infos, I don't think it's worth it. I hate non-gentle start so I don't think the flywheel would be appropriate for me.
  10. I went with R34 because they were 2x cheaper the price of the mine's ( 2 peoples were selling an used set). Thanks for the head up. I'm sure it will be better than my stock one! Also, Tomei diameter is 60mm just like the r34. So, beside the material, I can't see a difference. By the way, just to make sure, are the r34 dump bolt-on on the bnr32 ?
  11. that it. Even if it's 200$. I don't want to pay for something that wont do anything to my car lol!
  12. How much should I expect for the r34 ? Because I can get mine's for approx. 200$ ( I think the guy don't know how much it's worth hahah!) By the way, I have a R32 GTR.
  13. I have a rb26, running stock turbo but plan on upgrading to newer twin turbo. I was wondering if anyone dynoed their dump pipe to see if all those 700$ nismo, tomei, mine's dump pipe are worth the expensive price or better put the money elsewhere.. Any dyno chart to back it up!? Thanks a lot guys!
  14. With he valve close, i'm under rules.
  15. Yeah, my valve would be open 99% of the time. the 1% will be when I see a police. It is that heavy? Do you have a sound clip of that varex ?
  16. The problem is to be legal I have to have a non-straight through system( excepting the OEM) or else I will get a exhaust ticket and will have to go to court to fight it( something I'm freakin tired to do)
  17. I have a dilemma. I've been reading about cat-back for the last 2 weeks. I have to swap my RS*R Exmagt2 for either: 1. a 3' non straight pipe cat-back ( I.E: Magnaflow XL turbo) + Swap the downpipe for an Aftermarket. http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd...ain&id=8264 Or 2. The OEM cat-back which is 2.5' but straight pipe + adding a Y pipe with a electric open-valve ( cutout) just before the cat. But I'm afraid it will be way too loud to run it on the street and won't use it enought to make it worth the hassle. 3. Varex cat-back with the butterfly valve but is there any backpressure problem with this exhaust because if you close the valve it will only have a 1 inch hole? Which one should be less restrictive?? a 3 inch 3 chamber system or a 2.5' straight free-flowing.. For the moments, I'm fairly stock ( approx. 340whp) but I plan on upgrading the turbo( -5) and go to the 450ish whp marks and I don't want to loose like 50 HP because of those exhausts.
  18. a mecanic. someone who work in a garage.
  19. This is exactly the result I'm looking for because I will be sad to never heard back the sound of my RS*R GT2 ( but it's tooo loud for street). By the way, it would be an electric valve, just like this one ( excepting the Apexi is mechanic): http://www.nengun.com/apexi/exhaust-control-valve
  20. Hello, I ask on this forum because there's so much people on here I'm sure some peoples can feed me some infos about this kind of setup. I want to install an open-valve on my exhaust line to gain more power on the high-way and track. I really want a quiet ride when cruising in the street but would like something more agressive on the highway or for drag night. So, my mechanician told me that one of his customer gain 60whp with that kind of valve. I guess he install a Y pipe before the catalyser but I can't be sure.. Feedback!??
  21. So, anyone had or have the tein HA on their skyline and care to give me some input ? Thanks
  22. unknown. condition is good. he swap them for some JIC because he wanted to go to 12/10 for track use. the tein are 8/7
  23. Hey guys, I have the OEM BNR32 suspension with RS*R spring. I have, what I would say, a great deal on a set of TEIN HA. I'm a daily-driver who might do 1 track day next summer. I like the idea of coilover so I can drop my GTR an inch lower. But what wondering if swapping my oem suspension for a used set of HA is worth it. Thanks in advance.
  24. We all know the twin turbo emblem is red but does it exist in blue?? Thanks!
  25. I have a glutted OEM cat. The OEM cat-back is 3 inch and straight-through design. What kind of downpipe should I look for? any good aftermarket japanese brand?
