Nismo Edition R32 Gtrs
ScottKing GTS-4 replied to ScottKing GTS-4's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Honestly mate.. I've seen you on the forums before, I can see I joined not long after you - you don't seem to have a bad reputation around the forums and you dont seem to generally talk so much crap, dont start tarnishing your rep now just to defend some stupid comments you made earlier. I made some stupid TYPO's in my ad, nothing more and nothing to get rude about. And yeah you did come across as rude, and I've just been through the whole process of selling a car and had to deal with lots of time wasters, day dreamers and alot of rude people in general so I probably bit back a little rudely myself. For that I apologise. The fact of the matter is you may be a world renowned expert on Skylines but please dont even pretend to know anything about MY particular car, you've never seen it, you know nothing about it. I have no problems answering genuine questions from genuinely interested buyers and enthusiast. The car has nothing to hide. And besides, as I said the car is gone anyway. -

First you're trying to tell me how much I paid for my car (<$20K?!?!?) How do YOU even pretend to know how much I paid for MY car? Maybe you're a mind reader? And I dont give a rats what you find to be "a bit rich". Believe what you want, I have proof for any genuine buyer who looks at the car. How come you're asking me how I complied a 1991 model under the 15 year rule? I thought you knew everything about my car?!?! Why don't you tell me how I complied it, maybe you also tell me how much that cost me? What else can YOU tell me about MY car? This thread keeps getting funnier and funnier!! Seriously but mate, mind your own business and go post in a forum that you may be able to help someone in. That's what these forums are for. -

Glad you're all getting a kick out of this guy.. It was a private "PM" in eBay so there's no public thread, unfortunatly. His eBay name is "silvergho5t" anyone keen enough could contact him on ebay but he hasn't replied.. It's possible he has actually done some homework. -
I'm selling my R32 Nismo Edition GTR and I recieved this hilarious email from some "expert" on eBay of all places, thought I'd share it's a good laugh: "Sorry mate but you may want to research a bit more before you claim something. Nismo never, ever, built factory r32s. In fact the first GTRs they ever released were R34s(10 of i think) which was not too long ago. They bought second hand r34's and did them up. I'm sorry but a previous owner in japan may have added all nismo items(V-SpecII N1) to the car but they were never released by nismo themselves. V-SpecII N1 models made by nissan used some nismo parts, but yours is not one of those. It doesn't even have brembos or V-Spec wheels. Sorry your number on the firewall does not mean 219 out of 400 either, that is part of your VIN/chassis number. Terribly sorry to disapoint you. Hey at least you didn't try and claim that it is 1 of the 100 australian delivered r32's as i actually own one of those. Good ploy though for trying to sell it. cheers" My reply: "You've got NO IDEA what you're on about mate.. quite amusing as you seem to think you're some kind of knowledgeable person. Do you mind if I copy your message and post it in my local club forum? The other members will get a kick out of that. I especially like the bit about the number on my firewall, you've got no idea what you're talking about... hilarious. Cheers for the good laugh." Goodstuff...

Hey guys, I got this PM with a bit more info about the NISMO editions specifications and build options: hi there, From the study and findings i have from contacts here and in Japan it seems that the Nismo spec are almost unique between cars like when ferrari releases a special Ed car-its almost like they were ordered in Japan from new to the cutomers specs and desires, which is why there are differences betwen the indiv cars-so ther are no concrete spec lists on them as they vary as I mentioned smile.gif

Thanks for the tip, when you say inside the bumpers did you have to pull them off or are they in a spot you can see them? If the car has any accident damage it was either fully rebuilt by Nissan themselves or little elves sprinkeled magic fairy dust on the car and undid any accident damage. Anyone interested in buying this car, go have a good look at a few other GTR's THEN come and see this one. That's the best advice I could give any of you. Cheers everyone.

It was re-sprayed in Japan and before you ask - no, there is no accident damage evident anywhere on the car. The guy who did the compliance, Nathan over at Grey Imports (recommended as being one of the most reputable Compliance shops by these very forums), commented that it was one of the cleanest re-sprays he's ever seen come out of Japan. Give Nathan at Grey Imports (Sydney) a call - I'm sure he'd remember the car and vouch for it's over all quality and I'm sure he wouldn't mind the call considering how much extra work I got him to do on the car while it was there (front end bearings, tensioner, timing belt, etc). No it's all factory fitted. And yes it is making well over 270kw. If you're interested in actually buying the car then I'll take you for a drive and show you. No more time wasters please. If youre interested in the car let me know. Technical discussions about the flow rate of stock vs Nismo injectors belong in the technical forum.

Thanks mate - you're doing well with 2! I was told my car had been optioned with the Speedo, 4 core radiator, cross drilled brakes and even the twin-plate clutch. Do either of yours have any of those features? The base options on the Nismo Editions seems to be a bit of a black area - I've been unable to find any "official" records of what the base Nismo's actually ran. I've also posted several threads in this forum and others to try and find some facts and figures. I've also spoken to another fellow who owns a Nismo and his doesn't have hieght adjustable dampners and from the pictures I saw of his car it appeared it even had the stock GTR exhaust system on it.

My car seems to have several more Nismo options then the regular Nismo editions and there may even be several other Nismo modifications to the car as the Nismo's were special orders.
