I've had problems with 2 Response amps, the first was a 2x100Watt RMS which I suspect suffered water damage when my mates girlfriend spilt her drink under my seat where the amp was (luckily it was in ym old shit heap Celica) The 2nd was a big boy 400wRMS which I had in my GTS-4, the problem was the 3 fuses kept coming loose under hard cornering, the fuse holders just couldn't hold the fuses tight enough and each time I cornered with a bit of feeling I had to reach under the seat and re-adjust the fuses. I believe they've updated the design of the amps since and it appears they dont have the external fuses anymore. Still something to look out for. Also I managed to burn out a response 10" carbon sub in about 3 days but I was over driving it a little. I melted the voicecoil. Could happen to any sub. I also use JayCar SuperCar tweeters with the JayCar cross-over, they sound brilliant, cant recommend them highly enough for their price.

Dont bother with QuickTrak, Ive had one for about 3 years and I can honestly say, it's not worth it. They call you occasionally when the alarm does not sound, sometimes it sounds and they dont call, sometimes it sounds and they dont call for 10minutes. They're not all that well organised. There are better, GPS systems on the market for similar money. (read: expensive)

Hey guys, I was cruising through Bondi Junction this morning and a silver G35 Skyline Coupe went the other way - no license plates but just a trade palte on the back.. I saw in HPI they were coming out to Aus, but I havent seen anything official from Nissan yet. Anyone know when they're due for sale? It was DAMN nice.

Does the stereo have it's own fuse in the fuse box in an R32? If so which one is it? Im getting power to everything except my stereo. THanks guys.

Hey guys, just wondering how Turbo Timers work? I'm guessing they keep the ignition circuit open for a certain period of time after the key has been removed? If you had an immobiliser/alarm wired onto your ignition circuit, and a turbo timer - would any tampering with the ignition activate the siren even though no attempt to start the car has been made as the engine is already running? I know it can be done, I had the same setup in my old Skyline but I'm wondering now HOW it is done. Eg: does it depend on which order the immobiliser/alarm and turbo timer is wired into the circuit?

Just because the original magazine (Speed was it?) printed it and said it was a photoshop, doesnt mean it was, it just measn the editor was technically inempt and thinks every "graphic" ever made was done in photoshop.

It doesnt bear enough resembelance to the good looking beasts that preceded it but I still think it's a cool looking car. BTW It's not Photoshop, could be a 3D mock created in 3D max or something but it looks more like a mule or perhaps even a clay model.

Hey guys, Does anyone have any info on the Nismo S1 R32GT-R? Besides this picture I have been unable to find any information on it. It appears to be all dressed in the latest Nismo colors and body graphics, is this some sort of "updated" R32 GT-R from Nismo? I know Nismo did not start using that color scheme or body graphics until well after the R32 had ceased production. Looks awesome but.

Bob Jane has a Maclaren F1 doesnt he? You're right sorry, it was the R33 Top Secret GTR. I think AutoStyle bought it into Australia then a local from Camden bought it. Here's an AutoSpeed article on it http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_2139/article.html Of course the MacLaren is the ultimate "GTR" (the Ferrari FXX has got to be the ultimate SuperCar now) but wet dreams aside - I'd have to agree the Z tune would be hard to beat although even it is probably over kill for street use. Have you seen the "Beast Unleashed" DVD? I still can't get over that Mine's weapon looks the shit, the way that thing revs it would put the NA Vtec boys to shame. The trip to TopSecret would of been unreal. How big is their workshop?

Dont like the chances of a McLaren GTR being in Aus. Even if an Aussie owned one, chances are it would be kept in a country where the roads are good enough to drive the thing on, eg any country that is not third world and is not Australia.
