My Budget RB20DET- Imported with HKS Super Dragger exhaust and K&N Big Mother air pod Added TurboSmart boost controller - $250, dynoed @ 150rwkw Added Dump Pipe - $300 Added Cold Air Induction - Free Added RB25 Turbo - $350 Added Front-Mount - $500 (inc pipes, see http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=47918) Added additional Cold Air Induction - $50 Next I want to remap the ECU and then it's time to Dyno it again. Hopeing to be around 200rwkw for around $1K. Then that's it with RB20DET, move on before blowing the budget.

Awesome system, quiet upto about 3,000rpm and then has a bit of a grumble. Also sounds nice under compression. And the giant muffle looks the shit when it's all polished.

Thanks for the reply guys. I didnt think the boost would come on so late and would be a harder kick in the back then the RB20 Compressor. So now the big question - where is the best place to source an RB25 Compressor in decent conidition?

So what's the general feeling with the RB25Turbo on the RB20DET? Little laggier, doesnt come onto boost until 5,000RPM but is stronger up top? That's 2,000RPM later then the RB20Turbo - hardly seems worth it for more top end surge. 2,000RPM later seems alot for a slightly larger compressor. I would of expected it to come onto boost at about the 3,500-4,000 RPM mark at the latest?

Ben, I've just found it floating around in a few performance articles - remove the Carbon Canister, make a few kw's and gain some room inthe engine bay. And hell, I love the smell of fuel vapour

Hey Guys, I'm going to do a test tonight with my Carbon Canister. I'm going to by pass it and vent the spent gasses straight to the atmo and see what kind of Power increase (if any) and what kind of loss of fuel economy I get. Just wandering if anyone has already removed/by-passed the canister and what kind of performance results they got? Thanks in advance.

Thanks Jimbo, I like your idea - darker grey for the backgorunds to replace the white - Im just worried about which font color to use over the top without making the page to hard to read. I could use White text on the dark background but that tends to send some people blind (I personally dont have a problem with that). Anyway keep the comments comming mate.

I've used the Motul 4100 Turbolight for my past 3 oil changes, seems like a decent oil.

Does this have any negative affects no the wet-clutch system in the tourque drive system itself? It was never designed to be used in this mannor so just wandering if it causes extra wear and tear on this portion of the drivetrain? Thanks guys.
