well over here.........it looks like a HEARSE! no i havent seen 6 feet under yeah i agree with you on that one. the most sensible thing is to just forget about WASTING money on a car... buy one to get you from A - B... save up to buy a property... yeah ive read an article on how cheap properties are in USA at the moment. and plus you'd probably never would be able to own a house in australia, like many young generations here. oh well the choice is yours

R34 Gtr Steering Wheel On R33 Gtr
eeiko321 replied to white180sx's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
well obviously if removed and the vehicle was manufactured with it...would be a defect. but what i meant was to install the wheel......obviously the air bag is in tact but doesnt have to be connected. no ones gonna test it...you think you bring it to a mechanic for pink slip for $20.... they are going to dismantle the steering wheel and get their multi meter out, because he realises its an R34 GT-R wheel on the wrong vehicle?! dude ive been passed with bald tires for an extra 10$ for pink slip -

200,000$!!!! big dollar!!!!!!!!!!!! that GTS-R was one slow sloth...... there was a comparison of that car with the WRX and an EVO 4....back then it got ripped by both -
i kinda feel the same..... an excercise that will have your car in the workshop for months and months at the end of the day......on the outside, it still looks like a goofy GT-T i would say just save up and get the GT-R but its your car...your will know whats right for you

the car that ate bathurst -
OK yours is an EARLY model R32 GT-R which has the shorter nose crank..... late model R32, R33 & R34 have the longer nose crank to make the Shorter nose crank suit.....you will need a collar to fit to the pump does that answer your question?
-
this is an identical question its been answered here not long ago http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Di...Gt-t235148.html a slight difference in the crank

Help Me Diagnose Issues With My Rb25
eeiko321 replied to zebra's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
well its really hard to tell withought seeing things...... i can only go by what your describing.... well have a look in the head if you wish.. but the thing is...does it have unusual smell of Fuel in the exhaust fumes? becasuse cars that misfire or knock...a smell of unburnt fuel can be sensed at the exhaust. but if the car is idling like it should but having rattling noises that doesnt affect the overal operation...then like you said, it could be more mechanical fault. but so far it looks like you are seemed to be convinced it is a blown headgasket. lets do some simple tests to see if this could be the case without major dissasembly. first USUAL signs of damaged headgasket is... the COOLANT!... check to see if you are losing coolant without any visable leakages any where else... get someone to rev the car or even drive it.......watch the smoke of the vehicle....if its blowing white smoke......then it its the headgasket. and when the engine running........ have the cap open at the radiator.... (make sure you do this on a cold engine) see if there is any air bubbles coming up through to the cap. these are the most obvious signs of blown headgaskets... check the underside of the radiator cap have white gunk or buld up/deposits underneath also obviously signs of coolant in the oil or vice versa... the reason why i dont really like to take off headgaskets just like that......it depends on how tight it has been tightened... they are suppose to be tightened properly with a correct torque tensioner... but some people chose not to use it..... and some use special sealing automotive sillicone to help seal the gasket that can cause it be a bitch to get off & at times when its taken off...it may never be the same metal head gaskets can be the same...depending on how rough the installers are... but mainly they are designed to improve durability and hold high compression for modified cars...as well as improved heat capacity. its not really designed for a reusable item. anyhow.......check your coolant first -
these things are beasts as i said, these things in my eyes look 100 times better than the GTS-T or GT-T or GST.....or any other "Goods and services tax"

R34 Xenon Headlight Numbers
eeiko321 replied to Gaelen's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
well the part no# displayed im pretty sure is the all rounder replacement because the GTR's headlight is actually slightly different to the GT-T lights......just different details within the visual design of it. but they are physically interchangable. and actual GT-R replacement headlights are like 2 - 3 times the price of the GT-T headlights so a cheaper alternative for damaged GT-Rs would be to install phsycially simillar GT-T ones -
yeah i dont think 2002 Standard non V-spec GT-R's exist
-
I Didnt Even Know This Existed Untill Now ?!?!?
eeiko321 replied to V-Spec's topic in General Automotive Discussion
yeah i knew this one existed a while ago i read it in a magazine in 1999 this concept was aborted it is said that it was Designed BEFORE the Honda NSX....... so Honda wouldve copied thier concept.... -

Help Me Diagnose Issues With My Rb25
eeiko321 replied to zebra's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
your probably best to have a Multimeter handy. because come to think of it if the ignition isnt the problem....... you can test a few things in the next step with the meter like O2 Sensor, Air Flow meter, Injectors etc. but anyways, see how you go... keep us posted or PM me if you need me to run you through steps in how to peform these tests. cheers -
ooooo nice Winfield GT-R classic id prefer that over any of the other cars
-
yeah 1700 is a burden.. but the 2JZ-GTE is alot better and more responsive of a motor than the RB25DET anyhow............he said the figures were coming out soon so he'll let us know the result i still have my money on the Aristo (plus, i think the aristo is ALOT better looking car than the 2DR R33 GTS-t as well)
-
yeah im pretty sure thats true and apparently 2002 is when they were starting to build the Z-tune and released it in 2003
-
but apparently years ago after the release of Fast and Furious 2....... in the interview....... Paul walker said that Nissan in the USA actually Donated him an R34 GT-R and he was talking about the car.... so i dont think hes that fuss about someone elses R34 GTR

Help Me Diagnose Issues With My Rb25
eeiko321 replied to zebra's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
ok this could be a no# of this i guess you sound like the type thats willing to diagnose yourself than waste your money with mechanics ripping you off. well i would check the plugs, but i have a feeling its not. it could be injectors also.....either blocked or faulty... but lets not point fingers yet. what i would do, test the Ignition leads with a multi meter.....have you got one? let me know coz there is a way to test the resistance. OR if you dont have a multi meter to test the lead....do it with a manual test ..the process BEFORE current to the plugs....... by pulling out each lead off the plugs one by one with the engine running and earthing it on the earth bracket. hold then leads with a multigrip or pliers. do it one by one separate....... this will tell you if the ignition system has a fault....including from ECU or Igniton coil.....or other sensors. let us know how you go.... -
