There is a really Good place in auburn........i think thats a bit out of your way if you live in darlinghurst.. this workshop has dont spectacular jobs... they really look after you... and thats no exageration either few years back when my TT supra got totalled by some 60 yr old mongrel who t-boned me.... the car was practually a write off.... the smash repairs quoted 19,000$ to repair...... the insurance company wanted to fix it...cause the cars market value was around 30,000$ so it wouldve worked out better for them. at the end of the day, had they fixed the car....it wouldve been a pile of shit anyways and never the same. so what they did was they bought the car off me and gave me a check for 27,000$ cause he could see i really didnt want it anymore.... no one would do that....... because he did me a big favour......i reccomend friends and family to him... another mate of mine has a Black 200sx.... a truck oversteered into his rear quater panel...denting it... and he also removed the GT spoiler with a few rubber grommets sealing the holes..... so they sprayed the doors, and the rear quater pannel of the car and the whole boot....so pretty much nearly half of the car. $850 and it actually looked pretty good you could never tell it was damaged........... anyways let us know what you decide on or pm me.

well im not sure exactly why he crashed......im guessing he lost control...... ive had the actual Newspaper article for ages....... the son whom died in the accident as the driver.........actually owned an R33 GT-R prior to this and he wrote it off according to Daily Telegraph... and apparently the father told him the car was "Off-limits" and said in a statement "now that this happend, and to lose my son...i regret ever purchasing the car"

well the thing is....no matter what they do....... there are always idiots ruining it for others. the current laws i think are really harsh already...... 3 yr P's and apparently a Curfew (not sure on this) but yet......today i saw a 3 different girls on 3 different occasions today, driving at excessive speeds...all both were Red P's and one was Green. i guess one day they'll have it figured

well dude.......how do u think exhaust shops operate?! of course they can do that...... they make custom exhausts................bending pipes and welding it. any exhaust shop can do it......... go get 2 quotes... or they may just quote you on replacing to the nearest flange..... the inside is never "smoothen" cause the pipe is butt jointed and tacked with the MIG welder.. usually its wise to get it "Mandrel Bent"......

if your talking about the "ANGLE" of the positioning of a car when moving onto a driveway or over a speed hump........ ( ) umm its a tough question dude... it depends on how your car is set up...

what city are you from? the best thign to do would be to ring spare parts sales..... and i dont mean Nissan..... but an Automotive spare parts interpreter... they will have a record of listings to suit exact year models etc. so that way you could find out if the sedan or wagon are the same... i know of a decent place in sydney, so let us know...

id get a quote dude...... go to the exhaust shop......they can cut and weld a new peice where the dent is.......... yeah id get a quote first before coming into a conclusion of buying a new one....

thats pretty neat but even if that does come into full production....... australia will never get to see Infinity anyways...... we have such shit designated cars..... Nissan Australia has around 13 models of cars........ in japan and USA>.....theres like over 20.....

hey there sorry i havent read all the posts in here but to be honest, i dont think its worth it. i was once an apprentice mechanic.......when i finished year 12 back in 1998, i really didnt know what to do.... i had an interest in cars...so i thought that was the way to go... infact..then i learnt it was a SHIT house of a job, the pay was shit... (even qualified tradesmen get shit...) the Award wage is around 15$ per hour.... its really hard work and very dirty......and its practically like Factory/warehouse job...where you just bundy in and the boss has a little window that oversees the whole workshop....so always you'll be on your guard... ( i worked at a holden dealer & mazda/Audi dealership) then i realised, everyone loves cars........but driving one is totally different to fixing one.... it was really HARSH on your hands.....being a grease monkey all day but washing your hands after every job ...with Strong industrial type hand cleaner... and a percentage of people actually suffer from dermatitis with thier skin conditions after being a mechanic. Oh..and TAFE was a total shit fight also..... at the time i did it...........they were adjusting the cirriculum (making it harder as they always do) it was like hairdressing....where you have a log book, and u write down what cars and what jobs you do to it....so at the end of it.....they will go through it and see if your worthy to get the ticket .. kinda like your hours in your Learners driving plates. i finally gave up......im seriously glad i got out of there...it was personally the BEST thing i done.... but the BIGGEST REGRET was that i did it for 3 years.....nearly to 4th year apprentice......that was a total waste of 3 years of my life...... and i remember 3rd year wages was about $11 per hour.. and 4th year was $13 per hour. seriosuly.....people who work at ALDI get 19$ per hour....and the work is no where near as crap but anyhow......at the end of the day........you'll know whats right for you..... so in saying all that you can see how i feel towards being a mechanic..........but not all hope is lost......there are a small minority of successful female mechanics lingering.... in sydney a dealer called Rick-Damelian... an Aussie girl whom was pretty much reknowned Sydney wide for being a good female mechanic in a male dominated trade...... good luck with your decision

well the thing is....its a second hand car theres always going to be maintanence issues...especially for an old car like an R33 ... especially R32s..... even R34s are dated if you realling think about it.... 2000' is nearly a 10 year old car. anyhow... most buyers guides for imports actually tell you to be wary and steer clear of modded cars. boost controllers are an unwelcom sign..... but some mods can be a bargain..like Twin plate clutches, decent branded exhaust etc... those are very hefty with pricing.

well it really depends........ first of all that the....Rakeish angle of the muffler you see from the rear...is in fact not designed for anti-scraping purpose but it helps guides exhaust gases in relevance to aerodynamics & air flow etc according to HKS. it really doesnt matter if it is on an angle or not.......... All genuine aftermarket manufactures have thier exhausts pre-fabricated to suit... and obviously that angle is set to suit the model of car. where as custom made exhaust from exhaust shops... you can get them to make any angle you want. as long as they can tack-it with the welder..... alot of the times the last flange will scrape on a large bore exhaust on a lowered car.... theres really nothing you can do about it. in my opinion ..the angle looks alot better than straight...... but it may not improve anything with a scraping.... all lowered cars are bound to scrape.....

lol never too old eh? not alot of 40 yr olds think that way ... well Ive always thought it just always thought it was wrong to create a fake GT-R. i can understand GT-T and GTS-ts sticking on GT-R kits cause stock wise they look pretty terrible if u ask me.... but when they start sticking on GT-R badges..thats when i thought it was wrong. yes not just the GT-R....cars like EVOS, STI etc look really good stock......every single part on the car... makes it look genuine and makes it for what it is....... but when people put aftermarket kits...it makes it look somewhat..."cheap" ........and something that GT-T, GTS-T and GLI lancer people do..... cause in stock form as mentioned...just nothing on those cars actually look right....... but anyways thats my opionion... once again great car, you should post up more pics... very good example!

what is wrong with the current car if it looks practically like a GTR to the untrained eye? since your gonna have a MFD and possibly look into putting an RB26DETT... why doesnt it still satisfy you?, since your probably just missing out on AWD, ATTESSA & HICAS... thats true.......but with all the money spent.............on a standard r34 GT-T..... with all conversions.... youd probably be better off in the long run to actually buy an R34 GT-R?

yeah and i like the part where EVO of the main character & the 350z villan character where smashing against each other during the chase scene on the freeway 3/4 into the movie........ and the next scene when they went back to the Fathers house ... the 350z comes back the same night to collect his Girlfrield.... the car is 100% with no scratches or dents..... hitting against another car like that...the first thing would be destroyed would be the side mirrors....and the doors wouldve been Cactus!

now that...would be a box office failure........
