to be honest... Turbo cars are actually Quieter than N/A cars... The turbo Muzzles the sound slightly and causes a more bubbly/gugrling sounding tone... and less likely to Destort (the buzzing/cracking sound heard on Civics & lancers) It is the design of your muffler... like somone said, take a pic of the exhaust and Resonator (resonator is the muffler looking thing before the actual muffler at the end, this can actually play a role in muffling sound) you havent mentioned too much about your exhaust, but im imagining it has a big tip and a large muffler JAZMA? the tip plays little role in sound amplifing ..FYI i would safely suggest to replace the muffler and the resonator... keep the stock CAT... and during this process you may wana look at replacing the pipework if its not too old. (skylines and supras around your era can have quite rusty mufflers and pipe) cheers let us know how you go

i think hes mentioned he already bought a new set of plugs. although, i do recall my First motorcycle.... the Carby CBR250RR it was running too rich...and fould plugs all the time and each time when it did....the plugs just didnt seem like the same afterwards... .

i cant remember what car it was, but wasnt there a no# plate saying "IH8V8S" ??? i think it was either a GT-R or a 350rwkw WRX on a QLD plate

it depends on how picky you are with your cars... because say a 1989 GT-R and your gonna purchase 1 in 2011.... thats a 22 year old car.... to me....thats pretty dated... but if you really like the shape ..then i think its a good choice as a first car

well have you spoken to custom fabricators? you may wana look into a custom exhaust workshop.....they may be able to weld something up to suit and may be better on your wallet too......than trying to measure everything to suit

and also come to think of it...... the Toyota Supra ...the MA70 model came to Australia as a full import... it was released in 1989 also.. i recall from memory, speaking to an Old mechanic that i worked with... he mentioned that it was $60,000 AUD back then..... if you really think about it... not a large amount of the population now... could comfortably afford a $60,000 car let alone currency back then...

well it states on there that it FITS "R34" so it most likely does......but your better off asking the seller dude....rather then us.... cause to be painfully honest with you.....i would never buy something like that from EBAY. the amount of counterfeit shit on there.....its not funny...... china has really f**ked the world over with this stuff....i watched a documentary that they even found a way to counterfeit Chicken Eggs.... and i recall a mate who went there.....he took up some plumbing tools that costed over $200...somehow got it replicated withought the blueprints.. came back with identical ones and selling them for about $45.... its scarey so something like a BOV....will not be hard to conterfiet

well you ever wonder why?! i remember reading an article... i think Jim Richards owned an R32 GT-R... and it was an Australian Delivered R32 GTR in gun metal grey. anyhow on the same article.....it said when it was in australia as a full import.....it was 120,000 AUD$ so in that case.....i dont knwo the currency back then.... but lets say around 1989 when it was released....... mate...... 19 - 20 years ago......... that was aloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot of money dude........ houses costed around that much................... i recall my parents house we moved in there in 1986.... it costed them around 110,000$ now its probably around the 400,000 - 450,000$ mark...... so you can imagine how hefty the GTR was...

you have a point but..... but if you hurt someone with it........your gonna get charged!!! but lets say you get attacked by 2 of them or 3.....if you pull it out......your gonna have to be prepared to USE IT! because when they take it off you...your in big trouble. so you cant hold back and think...."oh shit if i hit him...hes gonna get into a coma or die...then ill go jail" because the law states that if someone threatens your life with a weapon, you are can do whatever it takes to minimise the risk... like if someone pulls a knife on you...you can gouge his eyeballs out to get you out of trouble. yes its self defence in court but NOT for the reason cause you got the shits cause someone threw a beer bottle through your car. and if that was the reason and you beat someone to a bloody pulp...the chances is......your gonna go to jail for that........ the law sux, its pretty messed up.... but with all honesty......he did the best and smartest thing was to.......drive away.......

yes, replace the Fuel pump get it tuned at the workshop by dyno...first the ecu may need tuning as well

so im guessing they are firing properly? as in did you test while the car is running ..earthing out the lead before the spark plug or testing with multi meter? coz if worse comes to worse....... what i would do....and when im out of ideas.....id take it to a Mechanical workshop........get them to inspect it... and QUOTE on what the problem is...... and when they do find it.......then you will know whether you will be able to do a DIY..... and perhaps watever the problem is...ask if anyone here has carried out the DIY procedure...coz im sure there would be mechanics in the Diagnostics section in this forum floating around. see how you go
